We absolutely love these sheets! We had Egyptian cotton sheets before and when I was replacing them with these, I was slightly disappointed because they weren't quite as soft. After a couple of washes, the sheets softened up and are definitely worth every penny!
My initial impression was very favorable even after washing the sheet set. However, once I went to put the bottom sheet onto my bed, my favorable impression went away. The long dimension of the sheet is too short to easily reach the bottom of the mattress. It takes enough effort that I can see one corner tearing sometime in the future. I had another brand sheet set that was as difficult to get the long dimension corners down under the mattress and one corner ended up tearing. I have a Sleep Number mattress with a pillow top that is not the most plush. The depth of the fitted sheet is large enough the fit the mattress, however, the long dimension is too short.

The sheets are nice. They aren't as soft as I initially anticipated. I believe that over time and washings they will become softer. As recommended by other reviews, get a size larger than your bed size. I took this advice and ordered king size sheets for my queen size bed. The sheets fit like a glove!! Overall, I would give the sheets four stars out of five.
