We had a very bad bedbug problem and ended up throwing out our old mattress. To protect the new mattress we purchased this cover. We have a pillow top mattress, and couldn't find anything in stores to fit it they were all too small. This cover has velcro along the inside of the zipper, so it really locks everything out of (or in) the mattress. We have since gotten rid of the bugs, but will not be taking this cover off the mattress...it's great!

this item is worth the price as the previous mattress covers i purchased were plastic which 'sweated' due to body heat and were uncomfortable, whereas this cotton protector does not 'sweat' and is very comfortable, its also easy to put mattress.

If you're thinking of buying this because it says it's 100% cotton, well.....it isn't. They've changed the product since this description was posted when I bought it. The description title said: "Bed Bug Blocker Queen 100-Percent Cotton Zip Mattress Protector." The item I rec'd from Amazon [not Amazon Marketplace] doesn't look like the product photo; is now "cotton rich"; and is waterproof, which was not stated in the posted description. I was able to return for a full refund, no hassles; good customer service from Amazon.

Its a good product that does the job but because of the material it is made from, it tends to make noise when you roll over. It feels like there is a plastic bag underneath you...
