I ordered this item based on a few reviews. I wish I had done further research, because I'd never have ordered it if I had. After ONE wash it shrank so it hardly fit on the bed and the netting on the bottom shredded. Please note: I washed it according to instructions.

I wasted my money on this product and I don't advise others to do so. Get something else. ANYTHING has to be better than this product!

I was looking for a plush, yet waterproof mattress pad for my 3 year old's new twin bed. This one fits the bill it's reasonably priced and definitely waterproof. It could be slightly more plush, but overall I am very pleased.

As I write, fans are blowing on my daughter's mattress trying to dry the accident that went right through this 'waterproof' mattress pad. Either I received a defective item or the piece is incorrectly advertised. Purchase and use with caution.

We bought this for my toddler in her big girl bed. It works great. She doesn't have issues with wetting, but she has a sensitive stomach and vomits more than a regular 2 year old. It has been a great barrier for her mattress. We haven't had any issues with anything getting onto the mattress yet. I would recomend this to anyone. It fits her bed great and her sheets fit over it with no problems. It also doesn't make noises like the plastic ones do.

I have no idea what these other people are talking about. I bought 2 of these in a Full & Queen size.(about a year ago) I have washed and DRIED the Full size sometimes 2 times in a row. I have had other products that if you dried them too long it would melt before it was even dry. This product I do not have to worry about the dry time. I have not had a problem with shrinking or shredding. I love it so much I just bought one for a King size. I have a front load washer so I am not sure if that would make a difference. There is a warranty on the product as well for those of you who had problems. But for my family these are the best waterproof mattress pads we have had.
