Clara Clark Goose Down Alternative Double Fill Comforter (Duvet)

I was apprehensive at first about the quality of this comforter due to the lack of reviews relative to the other more expensive offerings on Amazon. There was only one positive review at the time.

I'm glad I decided to order this comforter. My basis for comparison are the Down and Alternative Down comforters I've purchased from Costco and Sam's Club. This comforter is softer and just as filled as the high quality >$60 comforters offered at Costco. Compared to the $30 comforter I purchased at Sam's Club, there is no comparison--the Sam's Club comforter (forgot the brand) was thinly filled and was't close to the quality of this or the items purchased at Costco. I understand there is a price difference with the Sam's version being the cheapest; but I'd rather pay $10 more and have a comforter with comparable quality to the higher priced comforter's I've purchased in the past.

In summary, this comforter is a great value and is soft, warm, and generously filled.

I purchased the queen comforter. I'm only knocking one star off the review, as the product wasn't what I expected. I've purchased down alternatives that feel like real down comforters (that is, soft, not too firm, and very "airy). This comforter, however, was nothing like a down alternative I've purchased in the past. It feels like a good-quality bed-in-a-bag comforter. It is more stuffed and firmer than the usual bed-in-a-bag, so that's nice IF that's what you are looking for. Even though it wasn't what I expected, it works wonderfully for its purpose. I purchased it to use with an Ikea duvet cover. Usually, these covers run a little baggy on my down comforters--but not in this case! It's overstuffed quality fits the full/queen duvet like a glove. No loose, baggy corners or bunching up in the duvet cover. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I only knocked one star to warn others that if you are looking for a down feel, this is not the comforter. If you want more full and firm fill in your duvet cover, then go for this one. It's affordable and a good quality.

This comforter is not as full as promised in the description as it states it's double filled but I have to say it's very soft and my daughter loves it on her bed. It seems pretty sturdy and for the price well worth the purchase.

I would call it a medium stuffed blanket. Not super full or thick but not cheap or thin either. I really love it.

I have nothing to add about the quality--it's pretty much what others have been saying, and we're happy with it; but many people have been wondering about the size of this comforter. For those concerned about sizing, here are the dimensions as listed on the package:

Full/Queen: 88" x 88" (this is the size we bought, and the dimensions listed are accurate)

King: 102" x 88" (I'm assuming these are accurate, but can't verify).
