Coaster Pillow with Neck Contour, Twin/Full/Queen

One thing I noticed is that it doesn't fit right, and I think if I had a longer neck maybe it would fit..who knows. It's super firm. It hurts my neck and pushes up against the back of my skull (although this could be because my neck is too short). Either way, I just don't like how hard it is. This would be fine, but there's little give where the base of your neck rests, and therefore it hurts the nerves in my upper Cs.

Some neck issues may need the more firm pillow without much give, or the ability to adjust. I found that your neck will let you know if the alignment is wrong, especially if you have neck issues. I knew it was off when my shoulders began to ache because of the positioning of my neck, and I also had discomfort in the Trapezius muscle on one side. I personally need something that gives support..yet conforms to my neck without my neck conforming to the pillow, and this pillow does not allow that for me.

BTW: Very important to note that I also noticed my head was leaned a little too forward, like my chin was closer to my chest. That hurt my neck triggering pain from my neck condition. I need my neck to be flat with support in the C1-C3 vertebrae, which releases strain and pressure on the nerves. Like I said though, if my neck was a little longer that might not be an issue with this particular pillow.

FYI: I have a FIRMAPEDIC pillow that I got with a purchase about 3 years ago, and it's awesome! My dog got to it recently and some of the foam is gone..thus, I decided to buy a new one. I thought I'd try a different brand since I didn't see it on Amazon. I did eventually find the Firmapedic pillow online bought it. It doesn't flatten, but gives softer support in the C-spine. It's smaller than this one, but for anyone who has a shorter neck I recommend it. It is very affordable too. Just do a search and you'll find it.

So, overall..3 stars for great quality and comfy covering. Extra firm support. Ideal for a longer neck I believe.

Fantastic Product, Holds it's shape effortlessly, doesn't flatten and stay that way. Super Dense foam and these pillows are HEAVY.

Quality product no doubt about it.

Love these and would recommend them for anybody needing firm pillows that WON'T be a "Pain in the Neck" literally!

My husband and I both bought these pillows and we will never go back to a traditional pillow. They are comfortable and have a removable cover for easy cleaning.
