Perfect Fit Medium Density Quilted Sidewall Pillow 2 Pack

I just purchased these pillows from Amazon last week. I have had a hard time finding "soft", and quality queen size pillows. I do not want to pay more than $15 each. It is extremely difficult to find a decent soft pillow with side panels. The ad states these pillows are medium density. I was hoping they would be soft and found they are definitely medium to firm.

Even though I am still looking for soft pillows, I love these mediums. They look well built with quality and should give years of service. I could have returned these right away; however, I put them into my pillow shams and left them on the bed to try for watching TV. They packed the shams full. Normally, when I watch TV, I stack my pillows to prop me up. i.e. first my main pillow is on the bottom, then two other full size pillows to raise my head and finally one smaller pillow to tilt my head.

With these new pillows, I only use my regular pillow as a base and the new one on top. This is working better than any other system I have tried. I love them. If you want a pillow that is medium to firm (I think this one is firm) this is a good pillow. If you are looking for soft, this is not the one for you.

Now I don't want 6 pillows on my bed. Now I just want 4. I still need 4 soft new pillows for the rest of the house and I am looking. So this accidental purchase is beneficial for me.

No two people are alike and neither are their pillow preferences so this may be your pillow or not. I used to travel extensively and logged in maybe 100 nights a year at hotels around the country. In that time, I found maybe 5% of the hotel pillows to my liking so to say I'm picky about pillows would not be an understatement. I sleep mainly on my side or stomach and as such, cannot take a thick fluffy pillow that elevates my head much more than a compressed inch above the mattress. Thse medium density pillows are perfect in that configuration.

They also retain their shape, don't need continual readjustment or re-fluffing during the night which is important to me as I tend to thrash around from one side of the bed to the other multiple times during a 6-8 hour sleep session. The ultra soft down filled pillows are nice in that regard but require way too many adjustments to allow a good night's sleep in my view. These pillows are not perfect as I would prefer them to be a bit, say 20% softer, but when you add up all the pluses and minuses, they get a good solid A grade from me.

I also want to note that the value for these pillows is outstanding. I paid about $60 per pillow from a nationally advertised pillow company for a pair of their finest but was disappointed with both the quality and design of their 'guaranteed best pillow ever' positioning statement. The pillows being reviewed here are far better for far less money. So it all comes down to what you want and what will work for you. Unfortuantely, you can't really know about a pillow until it's been test driven for an entire night of sleep.

I would suggest to you that these pillows are worth the risk if your sleeping habits come close to mirroring my own.

I do not like these pillows, they are to high for me. However, everyone else loves them. I even forwarded this item to a girl friend so her husband and her can buy them. They are really well made and my husband likes them so I will keep them. I need more of a down pilloe or really flat pillow.

These are good value for the price. They are supportive but not too soft an ideal medium pillow. The label says the cover is 100% cotton. I have washed one and it washed and dried well to my surprise as previous 'washable' pillows have always been ruined in the wash. In my opinion pillows have a limited life-span anyway so I would rather have reasonably priced ones that I change frequently.

Good quality pillow but if you are looking for a flat pillow keep looking... this is not the one. The height measurement is not correct. This pillow is high/tall and firm so stomach sleepers you'll end up with a serious crink on your neck after just one night.
