These blankets are great baby gifts. The color was vibrant green, and fabric very soft. These blankets are oversized and very nice for swaddling. They are also light weight, so they make the perfect blanket for summer.

our son is now using his 2nd swaddling blanket and he loves it. when he was just born we used it to swaddle him into it it is larger than most other swaddling blankets we found and mad of cotton and afterwards he started to use it as his comforting blanket. He did wear out the first one, in the end it was one nut tied to another as we tried to keep it together, but they will last you a good 2 years with weekly washes.

I love muslin saddle blankets. No matter what I can't seem to get a good tight saddle with anything without Velcro but that is probably user error. I still love them for just about everything. I use them as an impomtu nursing cover, to shield baby from the wind, to catch baby drool ;) , and when it's warmer outside as a nice light blanket. I have this blanket and a few A&A blankets and they are different. I think this one is a little smaller though still plenty big enough, I have yet to check the actual dimensions. It's also a bit thinner and softer. I like the colors used more too. Overall I don't have a favorite, I use them all though I save this one form when we are around other people more since the coloring is cuter.
