in case you don't know what a dakimakura is, the word "dakimakura" is japanese for "hugging pillow". a dakimakura is often called a "love pillow" by adult owners. these pillows often have anime characters in most cases a sexy anime babe printed on them. this pillow has a printed portrait of major motoko kusanagi from the ghost in the shell franchise. motoko is numero uno on my top three cyber hotties of anime, the other two are melfina from outlaw star, and android 18 from dragonball z. if you're an anime lover like me, or if you're starting an anime shwag collection, or have always wanted your favorite anime characters in your bed. ( there's no shame in it ). i reccomend you get one of these things. however, i don't reccomend these pillows for anyone under 18 years old. these pillows are like teddy bears for grown-ups.
It's a nice pillow, too. Bigger in person than I had thought from the measurements. The picture is printed mirrored on the opposite side. And the design is on the pillow itself, rather than a pillowcase. I see this as kind of a con, considering I don't know how one can go about washing a pillow itself and everything gets dirty eventually. The coloring is nice, the pillow itself soft. However it was terribly packed, in a fitted plastic bag within a box about five times larger than the item, crushed and practically open on one of the sides. It's a marvel the pillow managed to get to me at all, but it did arrive pristine despite that. I'm taking a star off for the image not being on a pillowcase, and the horrible packing.
