I don't know what happened with the product recieved by other negative reviewers, but I didn't have a negative experience with this purchase. The item was as pictured and described. SID Trading sent it out promptly and it was recieved well before the expected delivery date via Priority mail.

We got this as one of my daughter's gifts for her 4 year birthday. We wanted a canopy the encompassed the entire bed not just an area like other canopies for same price or more. The big plus for us, is that it is big enough to use when we convert her daybed to a full size bed after we move her to a larger bedroom. She loves it and now enjoys playing and reading in the canopy on her "princess bed," as she calls it.

The only flaw on it is that one of the loops with lace in the front is larger than the others. Nothing she notices, but I am kind of picky. Overall it was a great deal, but more importantly she loves it.

IT IS ONLY OPEN ON ONE SIDE, WHEN I BOUGHT IT I THOUGHT IT HAD FOUR OPEN DRAPES THAT I COULD WRAP AND SORT OF TIE BACK ETC..

BUT IT WORKS FINE, AND SHE LOVES IT.. THE COLOR IS A SOFT BUBBLEGUM PINK, AND THE TOP ALTHOUGH LOOKS LIKE SATIN IS MORE OF A LITE PARACHUTE MATERIAL.

IT HAS NICE SATIN TIES TO TIE THE SCALLOP AROUND IT AS TIGHT AS YOU LIKE..

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH IT AND IT ARRIVED VERY QUICKLY..

I have not actually seen this item in person, but those who have are very happy. I had it sent directly to my sister to hang in my 7-year-old niece's new princess room. I was going to get one of the smaller nets that just drapes over the bed's headboard, but my sister thought one that covered the entire bed would be better. Princesses prefer pink (or so I am told), so I was on a mission. I narrowed it down to two products, but loved the idea of the finished details at the top of this camopy, as opposed to just a plain, round hoop on the other product. This one was slightly more money, but not significantly more and I'm very happy with the purchase. My mom said it is gorgeous, very princessy, and best of all, my niece is thrilled. The transaction was easy, the shipping was fast, and I have no complaints. If your princess's room is not princessy enough, you just can't go wrong with this.
