Super Soft Coral Fleece BLANKET

I bought one in red and one in brown. The red one washed fine....a little shedding like you'd expect from a plush blanket. The brown one was a whole different story. I had to clean the washer & dryer out afterward...full of brown fluff balls. Washed & dried one more time, hoping that would be all it needed. Took it out, put it on the bed over nice clean sheets. Big mistake. It shed on everything. It looked like I had just had a family of brown bears as overnight guests. I had to wash the sheets, vacuum the carpet. I tried a lint roller. I brushed the blanket. I called in an exorcist. The fuzz balls have migrated all over the house and all over my other laundry. In the process of stuffing it into a garbage bag, my kitchen floor got covered in brown fuzz. It's in my nose and eyes. It spread like an infection. DO NOT buy this blanket in brown. I didn't see the brown listed anymore as an available color on Amazon, thank goodness.

Let me add that I buy a LOT of stuff from Amazon, and 99% of the time I'm VERY HAPPY...but this sure has been a horrific experience for me!

I've been looking for an inexpensive but big blanket for days. This one is really GREAT! It's really big, and extremely comfortable and soft! I love it!

I bought 2 of these because my parents queen size airbed is thicker than a conventional mattress so queen size blankets won't tuck in. When they arrived I unpacked them and said "WOW, These are the softest blankets I've ever felt". This made me think they would probably fall apart quickly. I washed and dried them before putting them on the bed and not only were they still as soft as before but when I cleaned the lint filter in the dryer expecting to find it packed with fuzzy lint as it would be with most items, particularly fleece, I found the filter completely as clean as before I put them in the dryer. Because of this and the fact that over a month or so of use I have yet to find a single loose thread I think they will be the most durable blanket I've ever owned, including the old Army surplus wool blankets that I still own 2 of from WW2. Combine this with the fact that I paid under $20.00 apeice for these and the nearest competitor I found online was around $38.00 and they went to over $120.00 with the average running around $68.00. I LOVED them so much I bought 3 more for a total of 5 blankets because I doubt I'll ever find such a delicious product at any price and you can never have too many blankets (especially in Alaska where we live). Almost every morning Mom remarks how wonderfully soft and warm these blankets are which is very important to an 87 year old woman who has always been chilly. I can't reccommend them highly enough and would even buy more but have no place to store them !! They deserve 20 stars and I have purchased an entire household full of items this past year as my parents got too old to live alone in their old house and my house wasn't suited for them to come live with me and these blankets stand out as the BEST PURCHASE I HAVE MADE !!

The good part is the blanket is incredibly soft and pretty warm. The first bad part is it does seem to shed some pills, but it's not any worse than similar style blankets I've seen. The other bad part is both blankets I received came with small stains (marked by inspector stickers). I believe the stains were from the factory and the blankets are simply defects caught by QC. Nonetheless, small yellow stains on white blankets is not very pleasant. The blankets were otherwise very nice and seemed clean and new.

I purchased this as I need a really warm and cosy blanket. It did exactly what I wanted. However it was shedding really bad out of the packaging. It was covering everywhere it touched with fleece. I picked them all up the next day and also removed any noticeable clump the next morning but it continues shedding really badly. I dont have a comfort of a personal washing machine and dryer and thus taking the blanket to wash and dry 2 to 3 cycle will cost me half the price of the blanket.

Ultimate I returned it after using it for 3 days as the shedding was getting worst. Its definitely a nice blanket if you can get one that doesnt shed out of the package or can afford to try cleaning and drying it a few times.
