I did not purchase these off of Amazon but from a pure water distributor where I purchased my distiller. There is a difference. There was half the amount of charcoal as the filter that came with the unit and the edges were glued instead of being stitched with cotton thread. I thought I would save a few dollars but in the end it wasn't such a great deal. It makes a lot of sense to distill your water and then run it through a filter that has been glued together. I will probably try to purchase the OEM filters with cotton stitching in the future.

Back in 2002 I purchase the Mini Classic II which is made of stainless steel. This filter is used to flavor and filter the distilled water. You rinse them and use them for three months so this is a years supply. I like the Mini Classic II because it has all the parts available so it will last forever. Ten years of these filters and the Mini Classic II.

This is an excellent filter. Since it lasts at least 3 mos, the price is good. I would highly recommend this product.

While these are for next years use (I always keep an extra years supply on hand), they arrived in good condition and appear to be proper. The transaction and shippment was great as usual. I have been using these for over a year and a half with no complaints. My water always tastes like nothing thanks to them.
