I inherited a cushionless rocking chair from my grandma. It was comfy without a cushion, but now I'm expecting a baby and know that I will be spending much more time in that chair. The bottom cushion has the no-slip coating but no ties for the chair. So far, that seems fine. There is no slipping happening. The back fits well on the chair. Overall, the cushions are very comfortableI can't comment on how they'll stand up over time since they are new.
