When people see this set, they see Egyptian which is often in reference to Egyptian Cotton. This set just says "Egyptian". These sheets are NOT cotton and they are definitely NOT 1200 thread count. You can see through them if you hold them up, they are as thin as paper. The set has a single tag on one pillow case, which says "100% microfiber China", and that is all it says.

When you are shopping for sheets on Amazon, you have a sidebar on the left side with sorting criteria. If you select "cotton" as your criteria, you rightfully expect to find only cotton sheets. Classic misrepresentation, which is apparently running rampant on Amazon's bedding section, as there are nearly thirty thousand products listed under "cotton". Many of these turn out to be the same cheap microfiber crap that I purchased.

These are worth 15 dollars as a set at most. This is deceptive advertising.

these are not 1200 thread count. when you hold them up you can see through them. they are not worth the money. they might 300 TC at most.

I agree with some of the other reviewers who said that these were not 1200 there count and were thin. On the plus side, however, they have lasted well and don't show any signs of breaking down soon. They are comfortable enough too. All in all, I think they are a good value despite the misleading description.

Although these sheets are a bit thin, they do hold up well to use. They are incredibly soft and silky smooth. A luxary to sleep on.
