Back Buddy Knee Pillow - Better Alignment of Your Knees, Hips, & Lower Back

If you don't like the way memory foam crushes this is the knee pillow for you. It actually remembers its supposed to provide support and doesn't crush like memory foam does. I am back here on Amazon to order two more for the RV.

I recently had a total replacement of my right knee. A friend who'd had the same operation a few years ago had suggested I buy a knee pillow to aid in sleeping once I got out of the hospital so I purchased this one. Wow! What a difference something this mundane can make!! It's been almost 6 weeks since I had the surgery and I still use this item every time I sleep...I'm not sure I would get any sleep without it, it really eases the discomfort.

The pillow itself works fine. The only problem was that the cover was just a small size pillow case that doesn't fit at all. They must have sent the wrong one???? The pillow itself is very comfortable and better than the soft memory ones.

This item is in less than desirable condition and does not appear as advertised. These guys should not be allowed to sell on Amazon. First, the sponge looks used, discolored and old. Second, what appears to be dust particles are coming out of the sponge. It does not seem very sanitary at all. I returned it the same day! BEWARE!!!

I received this pillow quickly enough and was very pleased to find it so firm. My old one is so deflated and does nothing to support. The memory foam just squishes to nothing so this was nice to see. It is comfortable and does the job so that hips and so forth stay in alignment. That really helps with my bad back.

But what is up with the "pillow cover"? It is cheesy and not formed to the shape of the pillow the way other companies have theirs. It was not even on the pillow and fell out of the package as I was removing the pillow from the packing. It is typical pillow cover shape (just a rectangle) and is only chain stitched together and that is how the "hemmed" edge is finished also. It is a slippery material that just seems to guarantee that it will not stay between your legs but slip everywhere. I did not even bother to try it. It is also a cold feeling material which did not boost my confidence as to any form of comfort. Other companies have a terry type of cover that is comfortable and lets the pillow cling to stay in place.

Fortunately I have the cover from an old one that I can use but I was very surprised and rather disappointed, but just with the cover.

Other reviews felt that this pillow would last and from the first looks, and first use, of it I would agree.
