Davidsbeenhere Inflatable Travel Pillow with Cloth Cover

I purchased this pillow expressly for a recent trip from California to Florida and back again.

In the past, sleeping on a plane was virtually impossible for me, regardless of how exhausted I was, due to the lack of comfort with the travel pillows that I was using. I would have the worst head and neck ache after my flights, so I decided that I was not going to be miserable on my upcoming flight,and decided to do some research on travel pillows, finding this one on Amazon.com. The overall rating (5 stars) and the price appealed to me, so I placed my order.

Having been disappointed with the other pillows that I have purchased in the past (4 total), I didn't set my expectations to high. Well, I am so happy to say that, boy, was I wrong!

Here's my review of the pillow:

1. Love, love, love the fact that it is covered in such a nice, soft material! Doesn't make my neck hot and sweaty!

2. It was remarkable how it held my head on both sides and allowed me to completely relax in the upright position! Wow!! Can't do that with the typical u-shaped pillows!

3. Loved the fact that it is flat behind the neck and allows your head to lean back and not fall forward. Goodbye neck stiff neck!

4. Loved how it snuggled around my ears and reduced the noise!

5. And best of all it's inflatable and fit in my bag! And, it went back into it's little pouch just perfect!

My overall rating for this pillow is a 10 out of 10 and I will be purchasing more for my family!

The primary function of a travel pillow is to hold your head steady so you don't get a stiff neck sitting straight up. But it is also important that the pillow have some cushioning for your head. This pillow accomplishes both beautifully. In addition, the pillow has a soft cotton cover that absorbs perspiration, another issue with travel pillows.

I would recommend the DBH Travel Pillow for anyone travelling whether it be short hops or long hauls. Even if you don't sleep in planes, trains and automobiles the pillow is perfect for leaning your head back and relaxing while watching a movie or reading a book. I even found the pillow comfortable for home use sitting on the couch.

First of all the pillow comes in a soft carrying case that keeps it neatly folded in my bag. The case also seems like a bit of a barrier between everything else in my bag and the pillow: if my hand sanitizer leaked it would be on the carrying case instead of all over the pillow and then smeared on my face, or if my pen jabbed the pillow it would be protected from puncture.

For anyone who is frustrated with the inner tube style inflata-pillows that thrust the head forward causing serious neck aches the DBH Pillow is a revelation. The key to the comfort is the corrugated neck rest; instead of being one big tube the pillow has a slim back that cradles the neck instead of pushing on it. The pillow provides a more natural head position allowing for a gentle tilt. I found it especially comfortable to rest my head to the side.

The fabric is soft and doesn't leave creases on my face which I love. No one wants to look more beaten up after a long trip. If the cover get's a bit dirty you can remove and wash it.

The DBH Inflatable Travel Pillow is definitely the best inflatable pillow I've ever used. It is super compact, extremely comfortable, easy to inflate and then pack up and takes up almost no space when stored.

Definitely buy one before your next trip.

I hate trying to sleep on airplanes! Actually it was impossible for me before I bought the Davidsbeenhere Inflatable Travel Pillow. My head would restlessly fall from side to side and the little pillow provided on the plane would inevitably fall to the floor. I can not sleep on my back so I would turn myself to the side a bit and bingo the airplane pillow would fall! Of course I had seen other people with travel pillows, but most of them seemed large, cumbersome and uncomfortable. Unlike these other travel pillows, Davidsbeenhere Inflatable Pillow inflates to the contour of your neck and upper shoulders without pushing your head forward. SO COMFORTABLE! Actually, David should be commended for his stroke of genius on creating this pillow. For the first time I was able to sleep on a long non-stop trip from New York to Beijing. Not only was I well-rested, but I felt super stylish and clever with David's pillow cradling my neck. Then of course when the pillow is deflated it folds into it's cool little pouch, which takes up literally no room in the suitcase and is practically weightless. I also feel like a double genius because I bought my wife one too! BTW Will be using it again on a non-stop trip NY To Beijing in a week. Can't wait.....

So many good reviews, I was expecting to be dissatisfied but this is really an awesome pillow. I can vouch that it's great for flights across the pacific.
