I'm afraid this knee pillow was way too big for me. I have short legs & besides, it was just a BIG thing on the bed.Not really practical for ME..! But someone else may get benefits from it so I am not saying it is a bad product.Just THINK before you buy it. It is very big.
Bernice KnouseI decided to purchase a knee rest pillow after using one while I was in physical therapy for my hip. The one used at physical therapy was very firm (and very expensive) and completely lifted my legs off the bed (I'm 5'2" tall). This pillow is firm but not as firm as the one the physical therapist has. It is also not as high but it still serves its purpose. I find that I can put a pillow underneath it to get a little more height. It allows me to lay on my back without experiencing any back pain. I like it.I was impressed with how well this wedge held up for my weight and height. I'm 6'1" and heavy. Can be used in both directions (steep incline under the knees or a more progressive incline from the bottom to the knees). I'm very happy with the purchase.
Update after several weeks of use: Still firm and I discovered that it can be used to prop up my bed pillows behind me, too. I also like the removable cover. I changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars because my last concern (about how it would hold up) has not been an issue.I bought this for my wife because she suffers from periodic severe back pain (4 ruptured discs). She loves it and is able to get a fairly good nights sleep when using the rest. So...as the saying goes..."happy wife happy life" .It has plenty of lift at the knee, so I get the extension I need. I still managed to roll over while sleeping and end up on my stomach, but I don't think I can blame that on the pillow. If I can, please let me know, and I'll edit my review.
