I bought this because my existing tri-core pillows are almost 2 years old and no longer as supportive as needed. We prefer the petite size; I use the narrow edge and my husband uses the wider edge. The standard size is too big for our neck and barely fits in a standard pillow case.

This pillow is covered in a 50% polyester, 50% cotton good quality fabric. The plastic in the photo is just the bag it is in; the pillow breathes just like the standard white ones. While I love the cutsy juvenile frog print, the first thing I do is put my pillow in an allergy encasement pillow cover and also my pillowcase, so you can't see the print.

This product was less than half the cost of the white tri-core petite pillow so I am placing an order for more to use at the summer place.

Even thought I'm an adult (5'9"), I like the way this smaller pediatric pillow fits my head and neck. It was comfortable from the first night that I started using it. I bought the pillow to help support and relax tight neck muscles that were getting worse from going on long hikes, where I was carrying a pack and looking down at the trail a great deal. I think that my chiropractor helped my neck the most, but the pillow was a nice addition.

Only one wash, the edge was broken! One time use pillow.

Because my cat liked it, we think the pillow helped us.
