Elite Home Collection Somerset Floral/Medallion Luxurious Microfiber 3-Piece Duvet/Sham Set

This duvet set is beautiful. However, I wish I had realized a three things before purchasing it.

1. The dimensions on the king sized cover are smaller than most down and down alternative comforters. I had to jam mine in and it looks a little funny on one side.

2. There is no bed skirt included. A plain white bed skirt will run an additional thirty bucks or so.

3. It is nearly impossible to find matching blue sheets for this set.

Two other complaints I have, which are more quality issues than anything:

1. The fabric on one side has a few imperfections where the machine didn't weave the fabric correctly. Flipping the cover over solved the problem, as the other side is fine.

2. Upon opening the packing, I noticed a brown stain on the bottom of the duvet cover. It doesn't look like something I will be able to get out on my own.

Seriously contemplating returning this set, which is a shame because it is lovely and the price was amazing.

the comforter cover was underwhelming. i feel like its oversized for a full comforter. however its comfortable

I have four cats, so anything I put on my bed is subjected to abuse; fur, cat claws, et cetera. Because of this I simply won't purchase anything that cost me tons of money. I am very pleased with this duvet. It's rather light weight, which is perfect for me because I have a small apartment-size stackable washer/dryer which can not handle larger loads. The fabric has a really nice sheen to it and the colours are true to what I was seeing on my monitor, a soft camel or caramel colour with white. I originally thought the pattern might be too busy and decided I'd probably just pull out my white matelassé coverlet to layer over the duvet. I didn't need to do that. I find that I rather enjoy the pattern, which mixes well with the other linens I have on the bed.

In summary, for the money, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this duvet. It's of good quality. Colour and pattern is pleasing. A real deal.

Looking at the picture that they have, it makes it look like a fluffy top cover for the bed. All that it is, is a glorified sheet with buttons. I would not recommend this to any one that wants to use it as a top cover.
