This is very soft fabric with a lot of the properties of flannel and none of the weight. It is warm, very, VERY velvety soft, but does not shed or pill and doesn't have that heavy weight of flannel. We have a King Size down duvet and when it has a flannel cover it weighs a ton. This microfiber duvet cover is the answer. It also did NOT break the bank.
Comes out of the dryer without a wrinkle. I love it.
Fabric was as expected but color was much lighter than shown. Not what I would call charcoal gray. More of a regular gray in my opinion. Will have to use in guest room instead of master.

I was searching for a duvet cover to go over our old comforter in exactly this smokey charcoal color. I was very picky about the color I wanted. I was looking for a grey that was warm but not too dark. This was perfect. It is a soothing smooth color in our bedroom and very SO SOFT. Like suede without the annoying marks that are left when you touch it. The material was much better quality than I expected. It fits perfectly on our full sized bed, with a queen comforter inside the duvet cover.

very soft and flexible. I would have given it a 5 star, but there were no ties in the corners to tie it to my comforter. Otherwise just as it was described online.
