These sheets have now been washed 4 times, first 2 before I put them on the bed because they smell 'chemically'. My husband loved them right out of the package, I still don't. I love how they look but not how they feel, they are a litte rough, on dry skin they feel like a very low grit sandpaper.They truely are deep pocket, on a 14" mattress the fitted sheet does tuck under the mattress. I was hoping they would get softer but to no avail, I guess eighty bucks isn't really expensive sheets so I guess next time I will pay more for the softness I expected.
Months later: they are holding up really well and did get softer with multiple washings
