I purchased two of these one for my wife and one for myself. I have used many many many pillows in my 50 something years. I have allergies and now as I have aged a bit I can get stiff necks with bad pillow support. I have used down foam cotton polyfill wool 1 pillow 2 pillows 3 pillows even 4. So After a lousy nights sleep with an allergy designed pillow that stayed too puffed up due to the dust mite cover I went to amazon and searched for silk pillows. This came up and I told my wife I would buy one and let her try it. She likes it and I purchased A second one for myself. I am using it alone and I snore a bit less and no stiff necks. I have used it more then a month and will follow up on this as it is a very expensive item.. I would hope that it would last more then 5 years due to the price. Between this and the air filters I reviewed on this site I have not used an inhaler in more then 5 years. ( life long Asthma sufferer.) So this may help you if you have trouble sleeping.The air filter was really good this is more of a tweak.

Follow up July 18th. I am still liking the pillow and it has had a price drop. I may buy another one.

Silk pillows are my favorite soft and quishy like feathers but don't bother allergies.
