This is a much better find than anything I could have found at a department store or Target/Wal-Mart. The cases are a good thickness -they protect the pillows but don't make them stiff. They zip up and the zipper doesn't bunch or catch. I've seen more poorly-made ones sell for more. Definite repurchase!

After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant to try these pillow protectors. I've had some before that were such a thin muslin, they only lasted through a few washes. These are a decent quality percale, a little stiff even after washing, but just the thing under a pillow case. They are a generous size and even fit my jumbo pillows. I use them in my vacation rental, so they get washed often. Seams and zippers are holding up well and so is the fabric. Unless you plan to sleep on them without a pillowcase over them, don't hesitate to buy.

I don't know what the people who left bad reviews were expecting. They made me go back and take the pillow I covered with these out of the case and double check them. LOL

The material is standard sheet/pillow case weight fabric. The seams are sewed correctly. On mine no loose corners or threads are sticking out to catch on something and run.

The zipper is also correctly sewn, and face it, once a pillow cover is on the pillow it doesn't come off too often. Of course, I always put the zippered side in the bottom of the pillow case to help protect the zipper over the course of time.

The cover is more than large enough for standard sized pillows, so that even thicker pillows should fit adequately into it.

No complaints at all, and neither my wife nor I had to spend extra time travelling to or running around a department store looking at pillow covers.

I have had these cases for several months now, and they have held up well. The zipper shuts without snagging, and the thickness is just right. I have some from another store that were more expensive that are much less soft than these. I would purchase again.

These looked fine when I received them but after washing only once or twice, there was pilling and the fabric is flimsy but rough. I ordered 4 sets of these. Also, the zipper broke on one and the zipper fell off on another. Granted, the price is very reasonable. I use these as a protector therefore putting a pillowcase over it but they had such a rough and cheap feel, I threw them out and ordered a different brand. I ordered the Allersoft 100-Percent Cotton Dust Mite & Allergy Control Pillow Encasement for a little over $9 a piece. These are more expensive but there is absolutely no comparison. These feel soft enough for using as a pillow slip as well as protector.
