The pillow itself is GREAT. We absolutely LOVED our Mogu. My husband and I both loved to snuggle him at night, and would race to bed to get him first.

However, if there is ANY danger at all of this pillow ever getting snagged or damaged in any way shape or form, please, please, PLEASE do not buy it. Cleaning up after even a small tear can literally take days. The filling is very tiny styrofoam balls, smaller than any I've ever seen, and they get into and onto everything even remotely nearby. Since styrofoam really likes static electricity, the tiny balls will cling to your body and clothing, and you will find them on your body even after showering.

One of our dogs had them in her eyes for hours... we just kept finding more of them in there. Poor thing! Her eyes were so red and irritated. Each time we thought we had removed them all, more would appear.

Between the planks of our hardwood flooring, and along the trim of our bedroom, are now all filled with the tiny pieces. The vacuum didn't pick them all up, and they will all have to be scraped out. We had to vacuum or bed, bedding, dog, selves, floor, walls... everything... and we're still finding more of them.

Mogu is truly the "heroin" of the Spandex doll community. It may ruin your life, but it feels so good that it's entirely worth it. My wife gave this to me as a gift for our 50th anniversary. First, the small man confused me (bright colors, strange texture), but when I gave him my first "squeeze," I was in love. However, two weeks later, my cat, Ronald, tore a small hole in the Mogu. Within fifteen minutes, my life was over. My house was completely covered in white bits of foam. Not just the floor--it was bonding with everything in the room. I was taking several with my medication. It was impossible to avoid. That was over 10 months ago. We moved to a smaller apartment, but found that the styrofoam followed us. There actually seems to be more now, somehow. I hope they don't follow me into my death. Still, a cuddly, loveable item. Recommended!

On a whim I ordered one of these to have around. The pillow doll is really quite large and soft. If you have any experience with Mogu products, the filler is something like really small plastic? beads that give the pillow lots of give, but firm once settled around your hands/head. (I also have two hearts on my couch that my wife had picked up that make nice back cushions for us.) I like the design of this particular doll's face. The doll comes in it's own semi-hard plastic bag. To give as a gift, all you'd probably need to do is stick a ribbon through a handle. I haven't bashed the pillow around, so I can't vouch for the durability of the pillow under rough circumstances, but the hearts seem to be just fine. My pillow doll arrived clean and presentable.

Makes a great present for the artsy girl or any little girl. It's one of those squishy pillows that you can't stop squishing.

I ordered from Amazon & like a previous poster commented, mine also came with some sort of dark marks on it. Because the product is very bright & colorful, it makes a pretty strong impression of being dirty. It might be during shipping as there wasn't sufficient packaging material to protect the product (the weak plastic carrying cradle it comes with had ding marks).

All in all the product is great, though the seller may need to improve.
