Newpoint Terry Waterproof Pillow Protector Pairs, White

Newpoint Terry Standard Waterproof Pillow Protector PairsI took a chance on this product and ordered, even though the description is less than compelling. I had needed waterproof pillow covers for my kids, but hate the cheap plasticky ones and didn't want to spend more on a cover than the pillow was worth. These pillows covers (and yes, although the description is not entirely clear, there are 2 covers included in the package) have a soft terry exterior and a lightweight vinyl interior. They are a little noisy to sleep on, thanks to the vinyl, but that's the compromise you have to make to get a waterproof cover. The terry cloth exterior does help to muffle the sound, however. Overall, I'm pleased with the value and seeming quality of the product.

I have a baby and I use cloth diapers and so I'm worried that my new bed and pillows would get wet and these pillow covers work great. One of the other reviews said they were noisy but I have not experienced that.

Our toddler tends to wet his sheet and everything overnight. This pillow protector is so easy to use and keeps the pillow from getting hit every night. It was really hard to change the pillow and wash it every single day so we had to do something. He likes it without a case over it, because the terry is soft and feels 'funny'.

I purchased this product to protect my expensive Tempupedic pillows from my pets and child. I am very upset that I had to find out the hard way that these "protectors" DO NOT protect from liquid spills. This product IS NOT WATERPROOF and now my $150.00 pillow is ruined. If waterproof is what you are looking for, do not buy this product.

The terrycloth is nice, soft and quiet, plus it's great to get two for the price of one, but these pillow covers did a poor job of

keeping condensation from ice packs for migraines from leaking clear through the outer, normal pillowcase, past the supposedly waterproof case, even beyond the inner, normal pillow cover and, finally, to the actual pillow, which ended up leaving a watermark on a high-end, heirloom-quality down pillow. Company and Amazon were excellent about immediate refund though. Nevertheless, it was only a little condensation from an ice pack melting to room temperature, so I shudder to think how a full-blown spill or soil would be.
