MARRIKAS Pillow Top Goose Down Feather Bed Featherbed CALIFORNIA KING

I really like it. I've had it for about five months now and it's still very comfortable. I wish it wouldn't get flat as quick as it does but you just fluff it up again and it feels wonderful. I didn't get the cover for it but maybe I should have. The feathers stick my husband but they don't really bother me. It didn't even really smell coming out of the box so that was a big plus too. I would defiantly buy this product again.

Don't buy this bed, buy the Pinzon featherbed! First of all, this Marrikas featherbed looks nothing like the picture! I have had it for about two months and I have to fluff and shake it everyday as it is getting flatter and flatter. A big disappointment! My husband and I sink directly to the bottom feeling our mattress, so it doesn't feel like a featherbed after the first 5 minutes! It's as if the feathers get matted down the longer you have it and i have only had it for two months. I had no choice but to buy another one because this one does not do the job. I ordered the Pinzon featherbed! I love it! Big difference and just a few dollars more, but the shipping is less for a nicer Pinzon featherbed so it evens out in price.

I just purchased a new mattress, and for various reasons I did not want to get one with a built in pillow top. Instead, I purchased this feather bed to take the place of a traditional pillow top.

Out of the box the feather bed was wrapped in a nice sturdy plastic protector. Once out, the feather bed fluffed up nicely. The down pillow top is a nice addition to a traditionally feather bed. In addition, the feather bed did NOT smell at all, even right out of the package. The fabric cover feels very nice and seems of high quality (I sew and handle a lot of fabric). I have not noticed any feathers trying to poke their way through, but I always use a mattress cover. My mattress is firm, so if you think that you will instantly sink into feathery heaven, you won't. The feather bed provides a nice cushion, but does not counteract the firm support of my mattress.

Overall I was very pleased with this purchase and would recommend this feather bed.
