Contemporary LeatherSoft Recliner and Ottoman with LeatherSoft Wrapped Base

I wanted a comfortable chair for a small space in my bedroom. Everything I looked at was too big, till I found this. The item came in a big box. Overall the assembly was "OK" other than a VERY frustrating experience with the side arm rests (see tip below). I had it together in 30 minutes or so. The leather seems well-made and the seams are done with care. I find the recliner to be really comfortable. I read many reviews saying that the head rest is too low. However, I have some back problems and I find the headrest to be perfectly positioned for support. Also, if you have the chair reclined just a bit, the headrest props up your head just enough to enable reading, or easy TV watching, without being in a position you'd want to fall asleep in. Recline the chair just a bit more, though, and it's perfect for some naps. So overall, this is a great option if you don't have a lot of room or you want a recliner that's easy to move around. I'd buy it again.

Assembly tip: I had a hard time getting the screws to align and connect to the side arm rests. I had the best results by using a good amount of force, pushing the arm rest cushions in to the back rest to get the screw holes to line up. And the only way I could get it to connect was connecting the front screw first. (My problem is probably related to a manufacturing issue, but I figured I'd include this just in case.)

This chair is very comfortable and sturdy. I got it for my 22 year old son to have in his room. He has almost fallen asleep in it a couple of times. I would buy another one if I ever needed too.

I bought two of these for the times when I get a few more people over to watch the big game. They were very uncomfortable, the head rest was terrible and the chair would be better off without it.

I chose 4 stars because I couldnt do 3 1/2.This chair does sit a bit low and in the full upright position its hard on my neck.This chair is not so good for working on the computer.But for the price I am more than satisfied.I would recommend this chair to anyone who wants to relax and wacth the games.
