Liberator Standard Esse

First, my quick thumbs up to Amazon. I found this product significantly cheaper than what the product store had it listed for. This required flexibility on my end for the ideal color, but for a savings of $200, I can live with that. It was on my doorstep 2 days later with free shipping (I will be a forever Prime customer). Take into consideration the item will show up in a box the size of a kitchen fridge. As has been my experience with Amazon, cheaper, more convenient, faster. Well Done.

My wife and I had laughed, joked, teased about getting the Liberator for about a year now. It seemed like a fun way to " spice things up". Our hesitation were around cost and perceived quality of the item. After seeing a big price drop for a particular color on Amazon, we went ahead and ordered it. Don't let any branding fool you, this is a sex chair intended to allow the body to optimize angles and comfort. Upon opening, the item is in fact large, true to the sizes indicated, but it will take up some space equivalent to a lounge chair. It is very comfortable and well made. It is along the lines of those tempur pedic beds you see on TV. It is giving enough to conform with your body, yet firm enough that you don't feel like you are sinking in. We are by no means Karma Sutra experts, but this lounge really highlights the angles at which you can enter your partner. Each person can explore different positions and angles as you make your way around the shape of this lounge. For a couple just entering their 40's with a couple of young children, we have found this is a great way to have a little original fun at night. Their is quite a bit of height difference between myself and my wife and we have found it sometimes tough to enjoy the normal positions in the bed. Forget missionary or my poor wife would be smothered by my chest :) with this chair, we can both, very comfortably, explore new positions and negate any height difference in the mish and doggy position. We sometimes giggle that we actually bought this, but when it comes time to put it to use, we have had such a fun and exciting time exploring it. It has definitely enhanced our sex life and added a "raw passion" aspect to recent romps.

Couple of observations. The product page on the store website says this will fit under a bed or in a closet. I can't see this being the case unless you have a really raised bed or large walk in closet. Take a look at the item page on the Liberator website and watch the videos that gives you a tutorial on how to use the Esse and some of the recommended positions. They are great. Lastly, put the feeling of any embarrassment aside and go ahead and purchase this. If you are looking for a well made, comfortable piece, that will help explore new sexual positions and help break out of the normal routine, you will not be disappointed.

Looks like a great Idea but it didn't work well for us. Now we're out a lot of money and this thing is taking up a lot of space.
