Sunset and Vine Kennedy 8-Piece Comforter Set, Black/White

I don't normally complain, so this is not the usual for me but i just feel that as a consumer i need to let others know that this item is so poorly constructed and just a waste of money. i am very dissappointed with this item. I bought the king size set. It was adorable when it arrived but after the first wash the comforter faded from black to dingy gray. The cotton lining is lumpy and feels awful. It looks absolutely terrible. The lining of the pillow cases is falling apart and the zipper from one of the pillowcases fell off after the first wash. If your looking for a one use only bedding set this is it, if you are a normal human and would like somthing you can use more than one time do yourself the favor, don't buy the sunset and vine kennedy black and white comforter set. I will give it one star because it looked great for the ten seconds i had it before washing.

I love this product!! I ordered this for my guest room and it is PERFECT. I actually enjoyed it so much I considered having it as the bedding for my own room, however, I have a King bed, so it was a no go. The colors are true to the picture. I paired it with a great silver poster bed and the room that it is on had a very Parisian feel. It is light weight so perfect for the summer months and in the fall and winter it will still be perfect because I always put a warming blanket on the bed. Everyone who has seen it has all had the same reaction and want to get into the bed immediately because it looks so inviting and is very comfy.

I love my comforter and so do my guests. I get tons of compliments on it. I haven't washed it yet because I just got it 2 weeks ago. It looks really cute when the bed is made. I am glad I purchased it.

This product was absolutely gorgeous...UNTIL I WASHED IT ONCE! The black turned to grey in spots (very noticeable) on the FIRST wash. The second wash I did by hand (assuming I was to blame the first go around) and it turned out worse than putting it in my machine. My amazingly beautiful comforter is now GREY and dingy white rather than the black and white I was obviously going for. One of the shams completely lost a zipper in the washing process as well. I'm not happy! Saying all of that, I will say that if you plan to NEVER EVER wash any piece of the set...it's great! Maybe not the quality that you'll expect but pretty nonetheless.

This bedding was gorgeous in all of the pctures online and appeared to be of good quality. It was really disappointing to receive and find out it was poor quality and the black was a dull faded look. No offense to Walmart, but it was worse quality than that and not exactly priced to quality. The unfortunate part is that it costs even more money out of pocket to return:(
