If you are looking to replace a memory foam pillow, the quality and density of the Memory Foam in this pillow is superior to all others.I'd ordered a pair of inexpensive high-density pillows from Overstock about 6 years ago, and it was time to replace them. Unfortunately, review indicated that the quality of the memory shipped under the same product description was often only 2lb, 3lb or 4lb foam. Some even claimed it wasn't even memory foam (just an ordinary foam composite).
This was more expensive, but it had a really high density rating. I was a little worried when I opened the shipping box and saw the blue and pink cardboard packaging. It looked really cheap, but the pillows inside were incredible!
I unpacked them and let them sit for 3 days (to fill with air and loose the foam smell). The quilted coverlets look quite rich and luxurious. The density is such that the warmth from my head will cause it to give (comfortably) if I lay on my back. Likewise, the foam gives much less with only the weight of my cheek when I lay on my side. Either position seems to be comfortable on my medium 5'6" frame. (I used to have to put a towel folded into quarters under my pillow to get the right height... because the old memory foam was giving out!)
These are premium pillows, and I expect them to last for a good 4-6 years like my last ones. They have improved my sleep. Relative to the pillows at the sleep number store or upscale retailer, I think these are superior. If you weren't sure which of the many Memory Foam Pillows to buy (because you are afraid of cheap foam or inferior density), this is the one you want!
Once out of the box, the product fully expands to the full size and the nominal manufacturing odor dissipates completely within several hours.
This product is a very large king size, 28" x 12" x 5" and is high density memory foam. The pillow is a high density product both on the edges as well as in the entire middle area of the pillow. In other words, the entire pilow is very dense. It has been a very solid, durable product and I believe will last for years.
This pillow is very well made, true to the stated specifications listed, high density visco elastic memory foam. It also comes with a very high quality exterior velour cover with gold colored embroidery line on the side edge.
The pillow shapes to your head and neck and is not too firm or too soft. The pillow retains the high density and provides excellent support while you sleep. When the pillow is not in use it fully recovers and returns to the original shape and thickness.
I looked at the Tempurpedic queen and king memory pillow and found the pillow to be exceptionally well made and with excellent density. However, it was too firm with no flexibilty or tolerance and was too expensive.
I also looked at another brand of the memory foam pillow but found that it did not have any density at all; it was thin, was not well made and did not return to the original shape or thickness after use.
Comparing this product with similar memory foam pillows, it is a much better product.
If you are in interested in the contoured style of visco elastic memory foam pillow, this is a product well worth the price and has excellent value for the memory foam, velour cover and price point.

The King Memory Foam Pillow, from the company memoryfoammattressesandpillows, is excellent. It is the best I could find anywhere in the world. The company is excellent as well; especially their customer service department :)
