This item is very comfortable and has excellent support when you are recovering from cervical neck surgery. The pillow allows you to decide the height/support you need to obtain a comfortable night sleep during and after you recovery period. The top and bottom chambers allows you to adjust the support under your neck. I was never a person whom could sleep on my back-but this pillow allows me to obtain a full/comfortable night of sleep.
