Very simple and works great. I love that it isn't bulky. Keeps the heat from my laptop off of my legs while I'm working. Very sturdy, no more dropping my laptop!
This was an excellent price and it works great.
I love that it's thin and unobtrusive. It stays under my mac on my desk too.
I do have to say that under the "technical details" for this item, the very first thing it says is: "Keyboard platform with wrist pad".
There is no wrist pad. This is just a flat "board" that sits under your laptop. I took a star off for this.
I went by what the pictures showed and figured it wouldn't include a wrist pad. So I wasn't disappointed. I do believe in truth in advertising, however, and this is clearly false advertising.
Don't let that stop you from buying a great product.

I got one for myself and my GF but want another for my office....
I just use it as a tech/life platter! Makes it easy to put stuff on and move aside in one swoop.... or wireless keyboard and mouse on the couch when you need more surface.... I've used it as a backdrop to photograph eBay sales. Use it on an empty box to create a little table. I don't generally use it under my laptop other than to carry it maybe.
I like the (bigger) wooden lap desks as well but the smaller profile of this one makes it more portable/versatile.like product a lot, strong and sturdy and material appears to be soft foam. will recommend for lap top, can use any where, does not get hot when using it on legsFits my MacBook Air well, however thought the thickness should be more. With that said does the job and I use it everyday.
