Guardmaster Dri-Tec Mattress Protector

This mattress cover is very well made and does not have any latex in it. It does not add heat to the bed and is very comfortable. I bought another of these from Sleepys and liked it enough to order this one for my daughter who also just got a new mattress. I'm not fond of the price, but begrudgingly I'd have to say its worth it. Mattresses are expensive and this has a 10 Yr warranty, will keep mattress clean and free from dust mites.

DO NOT BUY a guard master mattress protector unless you do not care that it stops working after it is washed several times. It worked great for about 6 months, then just stopped working, everything started leaking right though. (I have two little ones that sometimes come into my bed during the middle of the nightwhich can mean leaky bottles or diaper leaks on occasionwhich is why when I purchased a new bed, I wanted a mattress protector that came with a 10 year warranty against spills or stains getting onto the mattress).

I called to place a claim and no one returned my call. I called again and again and again and left message after message, with no return calls. Finally I contacted the Dump, where I purchased my mattress and mattress protector and they gave me the number of the guard master sales rep. She was able to help me get my mattress cleaned and sent out a new mattress protector. This time I double checked the wash and care instructions to make sure I was doing every little thing right (I wasbut I was extremely vigilant the second time around). Sure enough it worked great for about 6 months and then just stopped working after so many washes. I have 2 little ones, so you can imagine how upset I am when an accident happened in my relatively new/expensive bed, and it leaked right through the mattress pad onto my mattress. It just sickens me. I have again left multiple messages for the claims service and no response. I am going to call the dump again and see if someone call help me. I am so sick of this company that never returs calls and their mattress pad that doesn't work.

Where to begin with the nightmare of this company and with the awful reliability of this product save your money!. Recently purchased a 4000.00 dollar bed and was sold one of these protectors that is supposdly waterproof and guranteed not! Spilt a cup of cranberry juice on bed got up immediatley stripped off sheets and guardmaster the red juice had alread seeped onto the brand new matress! Seeing how they gurantee nothing will go through i called them left messages every day on their warranty voicemail and got no responses for 2 months! Tried calling the 1800 number again but selected place a oreder what do you know they pick up immediatley! Explained my situation they got me set up with someone to come out and try to clean matress they couldnt get the stain out. Call guard master back let them know they said ok we will have to replace it once they found out the cost of the matress they never answered a single email or phone call again finally got in touch with some one and they did replace the matress but bewareeeeeee awful customer service along with a awful product DOOOOOOOOO NOTTTTTTTTT BUYYYYYYYYYY

Do not buy any product from this company. There "warrantee" is a sham and so are the products they sell. After many failed attempts trying to get them to live up to their guarantee, I am now contacting the BBB to report them. I can only hope they will shut them down so this does not happen to anyone else!

Would give it 0 stars if I could. After a few washes it stops working and when you call to file the claim they never call back. This is not a reputable company and they should be ashamed for selling this product.
