Due to hormone imalance, I sweat like crazy. Regular waterproof pillow covers make it worse, since they protect your pillow by soaking you instead. For comparison since I plan to buy them for every pillow in the house I purchased one of these and one labeled as "Comfort Shield" terry top. The others are thicker, but also stiff as a board. This brand goes limp when I hold it, as if its silk. I washed them and put them on my pillows this one feels better. The other feels like I have a towel stuffed in my pillow case.Since I've only washed them once, no news on how they hold up in the long run, but I plan to buy this brand for every bed in the house.
