I'm used to very high thread-count sheets. I was going to buy pillowcases from another vendor I've shopped with for years, but after they backordered my pillowcases for the umpteenth time (and I found out their stuff is now made in India), I got fed up and came to Amazon. These are half the price of what I ordered elsewhere, but they're very nice. I bought two sets. Both sets are well-stitched, soft, a true white, very clean when they arrived. They feel like a cross between percale and jersey knit. They are lightweight but opaque like they should be. Very good quality for the price, I have no regrets in buying them at all.

My pillowcases are soft, and I'm enjoying using them. Since they are still new, I don't know about their longevity. Everything delivered in a timely manner as promised.

It's really hard to find a white pillowcase like grandmother had, solid cotton with an embroidered cuff, that washed well and didn't require much ironing, but when ironed, felt substantial. I would gladly pay for that, but I suspect they're only available in specialty shops in NYC, London or Paris. This isn't it. It's too light and plain, and isn't easy to iron because the seams aren't exactly straight. But if you want a plain white pillow case, this is it, and it's what I needed at the time.

These pillowcases are quite soft and the fabric has a nice hand. They launder well. The seams are clean finished with no loose threads. When used with my down pillows, no feathers stick through the fabric. I got multiples of this product because I am pleased with it. One never really knows about the description Egyptian Cotton, but these pillowcases are consistent with my experience of Egyptian Cotton.
