I have owned several feather beds, this is by far the saddest. First off, just seeing it in the box I knew I was going to return it. I have owned feather beds far more comfortable and thicker, My comforter is thicker than this thing. I'm assuming those whom have reviewed this feather bed have never owned a really nice one. You could get something better for 1/2 the price. Also just a note...for king sized it states the shipping weight for the product would be 24lbs....it's 18, so that tells you right there....I was skeptical about a king sized feather bed weighing 24lbs...but 18? The fill power must be less than 250.The product detail says this is the retail version of the feather topper used in hotels such as the Ritz...I think they meant to say a pillow at motel 6.

I recommend this feather bed, had the best sleep of my life last night on it. Very smart for them to put the extra topper on top so you can't feel any feathers poking out. My husband was concerned it might be too soft for his back, he has had total back reconstruction with the steel rod attached to his spine, however, he told me today his back doesn't hurt due to the softness of this featherbed and for sure he will sleep on it for now on. Great! cause I love it!

Need to indicate height of mattress. Only concern is that height of mattress varies and is not consitent over entire width. Otherwise, have no complaints.

I like my feather bed, but, although it has separated sections, I have to "smooch" the foot and head of the bed to get the feathers into where the heaviest portion of my body lies. I find I'm making the bed often just to redistribute the feathers. When they are in place, it's a most comfortable bed loved by me and by my dog. I recently went to "Bed Bath and Beyone" with a friend who bought one for a fraction of my price. I don't know if it's as good, but it would have been the way to go before such a large investment. This was over $180 and may or may not be worth it. I like it, but I feel others would have been as good. I took the lazy way out and ordered it before looking in stores.
