Just like the mattress cover I purchased (different vendor), this body pillow cover behaves as promised--it's quiet and it does not make your skin perspire more than it usually would. The terry cover is very comfortable and soft.

I have two of these to protect my body pillowone to use and one to wash. They're great at soaking up leaky milk while I sleep. No crinkly noise, either. I subtracted one star because one of these popped like a balloon when I rolled over my body pillow one night, ripping 4 inches out of the side seams.

All the pillows on our bed and our mattress already have dust mite proof covers on them due to my dust-mite allergy.
