15 minutes before I crawl into bed, I turn it on to pre-heat. My bed is then nice and warm, no cold feet. I turn the pre heat button off, and sleep warm and peacefully the whole night long.

My in-laws requested this for Christmas, used one time with both controllers, worked fine, exactly what they wanted. Then nights were unseasonably warm here, so they didn't use again until Jan 30. It works fine that night and the next. Quit working, and is now out of warranty, so Amazon won't exchange. So for the three nights it worked, it would have a great review. Unfortunately, for this money I expect more quality, as well as standing behind the product.

This is our third heated mattress pad...the other two (other brands) went out on one side (MY side of course!) I bought this Beautyrest from another retailer on Black Friday for a wonderful price and we love it. We just bought a king side bed, so I will now be buying this for our new bed. It heats quickly and seems consistent. I like the automatic cut off also, although I ususally turn mine off not long after getting in bed, as I am pretty warm natured. The padding is adequate, and I do not feel the wires through it. The only suggestion I would make to the company is to make the cords from the controller to the foot of the bed longer as we have had to run ours down the side instead of completely underneath the bed.
