This is a fantastic pillow. My husband doesn't sleep well and usually gets up around 3a.m. When he mentioned his pillow bothering him I purchased the cal king pillow. It's wonderfully soft and hubby slept through the whole night. YIPPIE.

This pillow, in my opinion, is terrible. It is extremely heavy and feels lumpy. After sleeping on it for about a month, hoping to get used to it, the feathers started poking out of the covering. Now, that is not fun to feel in the middle of the night. It may have a down proof cover, but it is not feather proof. I thought it was a waste of money, even though it was cheap. Save your money for a better quality pillow.

I was looking for a QUALITY feather pillow to replace the one I had had for longer than I care to admit. I found one or two on Amazon, which seemed to meet the criteria (from reading the descriptions and the reviews). However, my wife always likes to save money (which in itself is not a bad thing). She found this pillow and it was less than half the price of the others, so I bought it. She even already had the pillow liners which go over the pillow before you put it in the pillow case, so I didn't have to buy those.

This pillow is a MAJOR disappointment, in my opinion. Within a week or so, it 'collapsed' (i.e. flattened out), almost to the point where it was just as uncomfortable as the ancient one I replaced with this one. Not much head support at all. What's even worse though, was within about two or three weeks, feathers starting poking through the pillow cover, the pillow liner and even the pillow case. Even the feathers in my ancient one didn't do that, no matter how crushed and flattened out it became through the years.

The only real solution is to try pillows out in person, but my wife said they don't let you do that in bedding stores. (I have no idea if that's true or not, because I hate shopping and she's the opposite), but I'll take her word for it.

So, barring that, I guess I'll try buying the expensive one I saw on here (Amazon) and hope I have better luck. If so, then the old axiom will hold true "You get what you pay for".

I was hoping THIS would be THE pillow I have been longing for. It seems to be average, not as fluffy, soft as I had expected. My head rests on it fine and no aches so that is a plus but honestly, I was hoping for more down feel, perhaps. The price may reflect why it isn't down? The product arrived promptly and in a nice clean bag. It seems to work, better than my other pillows.
