Pem America Colorful Sea Quilt Set

I recently purchased this ensemble (quilt and sham) because my daughter wanted an ocean theme for her newly painted bedroom. It is almost impossible to find anything like this. I even looked for material to make my own.

When I received it, I immediately placed it on her bed. My daughter noticed that there was an orange colored stain on the white part of the quilt. One of the fish on the quilt is orange in color. I thought that maybe it was a part of the orange dye that may have splattered. I considered sending it back but I didn't want to go through the trouble. I have since washed the quilt and the stain is still there.

It looks great \. One was lost in transit and one out of stock. Do not know if I will ever get it.

I just received two of these quilt sets today. I almost didn't order them because of the comments about color bleed. I continued to search for sea/fish themed bedding and couldn't find anything quite as pretty so I decided to take a chance and order these, based on the fact that the negative reviews were a couple years old and the better reviews were actually posted more recently. I was hoping the color-bleed issue had been addressed somehow.

Well, it seems fine. I am happy to say that I just got done washing the first of the 2 quilts (I wasn't going to put them on the bed without washing first) and I did a quick wash in cold water using very little detergent. No color bleed what-so-ever. Everything looks perfect. Looking forward to putting these on the beds.

The quilts are very light, but a perfect size on the bed and very soft. The colors are brilliant and very pretty and despite them being a bit over-priced, I am happy with the purchase enough to rate it 5 stars....now need to get a couple bed skirts and I am all set :)

Very attractive, good quality, warm quilt that goes great with a sea-themed room. Not a 5 star because the colors were not as bright as they appear in the picture, and the texture is a little bit "scratchy" as my daughter says, but still very happy with this purchase.

I purchased this to complete my daughter's Under the Sea bedroom theme. She really likes it. The weight is perfect where it isn't too hot at night. The navy blue is a dark navy which is hard to see in the picture. I wish the colors were brighter, but overall a great quilt.
