Love this product! I bought a $1000 pillow topper mattress 2 years ago. After a little time had past, I felt like I was sinking into it causing back & neck pain. I am not the biggest guy in the world either 185 pounds 5'11". I couldn't sleep at all and I didn't want to spend another $300 on memory foam. I did my research and found this product which is a firm memory foam and perfect in every way. My wife and I love it. I sleep like a baby. If you're not sleeping throughout most of the night and you wake up in pain; your entire day sucks. A little hint if you have the same problem I had. Flip your mattress over & then put your 3" extra firm foam on there, even if it's a pillow topper. It'll feel like a new bed. Also, just a side bar...when you go to put your sheets on because it's an extra 3" added to the mattress. Just get the fitted sheet around all 4 corners of the foam first, then pull down around the mattress. I actually look forward to going to bed again. Best of luck! Highly recommend this product. I was looking for a mattress topper that would make my bed feel firmer. This topper is AWESOME! It is not a memory foam so you do not sink into it. If you are looking for soft this is not it.

However, If you need to firm up a old mattress and not spend the money to replace one this is a great option.

I will say it does keep in your body heat. If you like a warm bed you will like this topper.

This is not so firm that you will have pressure point issues or pain. I cant say enough how great this topper is.

I put it on top of my mattress and put a mattress pad cover over it.

I have a queen size pillow top mattress that is a bit older but not to the point where it needs to be replaced yet so I thought this mattress topper would be a great "investment" & WOW was I MORE than pleasantly surprised! So surprised I had to be "dragged" out of bed this morning because I was so comfy I just didn't want to get up. Even though I have fitted sheets I thought when I first saw it, "Oh great, my sheets wont fit over that thing & maybe I'll even have to go up a size on the bottom sheet at least" NOT TRUE at all. My fitted sheets fit just fine over it & I had no problem at all putting them over the mattress topper. I can't say anything bad about this product (so far). Go ahead & order this as I just can't see anyone being unhappy with it. One tip I have is when you first order it, it does come in a rather large box so bring the box to your bedroom & open it up & let it unfold there for at least a half hour to regain it's shape. I opened mine in the kitchen & it is rather large & bulky & had to have someone help me haul it upstairs to the bedroom so just a tip. I love it!

I was contemplating the purchase of a memory foam mattress and couldn't understand the point of paying nearly four thousand dollars to do so. I read the reviews on this topper and thought I'd get a $70 test drive before making any committments. I tried a 1.5 inch topper some time ago and liked it. I "love" this 3 inch Topper. I'm 6 ft.240 lbs. -it supports my size perfectly and is extremely comfortable. The smaller topper was o.k. this one is perfect. I've been sleeping like a baby ever since. I highly recommend this as a cost efficient alternative to a costly full size. This is without a doubt the way to go in my opinion.

At first I was thinking about ordering a memory foam type topper until I came across this one and realized it is what I needed instead.I ordered this foam topper about two weeks ago and got it very quickly. I wanted to get more support from an older mattress and one that has always been two soft for my back.(Thanks to my trying to accommodate my ex) I had purchased the mattress and a soft topper from IKEA. Very good prices for mattresses at IKEA btw. However, why buy another mattress when I could have a $60 solution? I placed the IKEA topper on top of the new hard foam one and it is very comfy. Mattress no longer sags!(Wish I could say that about the rest of me oh well lol).They are not kidding when they say this is an extremely firm topper don't buy it unless that is what you are looking for! This has saved my neck and back and even sitting up in bed to read or watch tv is now very pleasant! For the price it is unbeatable. That being said it is just foam nothing fancy and yes wasn't cut exactly to the dimensions of my bed to the "t". Let it completely unroll by itself (mine took about 6 hours).Also be careful when dragging it onto your bed as a tiny piece of foam came off when I grabbed to hard to pull it. For those reasons I gave it four stars instead of 5, but it is a 5 for comfort I assure you. To those "negatives" I say who cares? You can't see it or notice it and it doesn't interfere with my comfort.If you want to preserve the foam put a separate sheet on top of it and then a mattress cover over both it and your other topper or over it and directly on your mattress if no topper. I would suggest another thin topper for preservation of the foamsofter if you would like to temper this one's rigidness. I have four dogs and the above solution has saved it from being ripped into or torn and is keeping it in perfect condition. This is the three inch topper so I can't even imagine how firm the five inch one is but this one is a keeper.
