I love the sheet. However, I have not slept in it and I have not washed it yet. It feels silky smooth in a very soft way. Nice cream color not paper white which I like better. Despite the high thread numbers it is not too thick; like the one I bought from overstock 800 thread and it could have been use to make a parachute!

These sheets are luxurious and elegant. The problem is I have never seen so many loose and hanging threads attached on a product. It was like the Italians knew this item was going for dirt cheap and they said why should we clean it up. It took me over an hour to do that cleaning up. The sheets were everything I hoped for afterwards. Some say the 4 item set with fitted and loose sheet you can see through and is flimsy. Not here. These are made of first rate cotton. We'll see how long they last, but for now I am satisfied. The cost was very cheap given the quality, so I didn't mind the lost hour.
