Microloft Sheet Set- Cream

These are the real deal, Berkshire Bedding "A Touch Different" microloft sheets. I tried microloft sheets for the first time when I slept over at a friend's who swears by them, and I was blown away! For anyone who has never felt them, they are about half as thick as a fleece blanket but they feel like the softest fleece to the touch. They are a fantastic alternative to flannel and I do think I could use them all year round. They are not heavy, but light and fluffy as a cloud. If you want to wrap yourself in luxury and feel the coziest you have ever felt, buy these sheets! I will be getting them in many more colors =-)

*It says to wash them in cold water, (I don't use fabric softener on them because they are basically fleece), and tumble dry low.

I would buy this product over and over again. I cannot tell you in words how amazing these sheets are! I feel like I am so spoiled, because they are so soft! I have bought many blankets and comforters from Berkshire blanket as well and when I found these sheets were made by them, it was like I hit the jackpot!!

I will never use any other sheets again BUT Berkshire Blanket sheets. I bought these for my grandson...we have the queen set for our bed and I bought my daughter a queen set for her bed! Sleep Innovations Cool Contour Memory Foam Pillow

Honestly I was concerned about this pillow after reading some of the reviews, but it was a great purchase nonetheless. I purchased these pillows to go with a new memory foam mattress I also ordered from Amazon. A reviewer had mentioned that standard pillows could be a little too tall with a memory foam mattress, so I didn't want to take any chances. I had also read that memory foam gets hot, and I cannot stand a hot pillow under my head, which is why I chose the sleep innovations cool contour memory foam pillow.

My pillows arrived well ahead of our mattress, so I figured I would try it out with our old bed, just to see if I would like it. First I'll comment on the pillow itself, then relate my experiences using it.

The pillow comes in a nice cloth cover that adequately covers the foam. There is an inner layer of what appears to be standard foam covered by a memory foam layer that is much softer and more pliable if that is the proper term. Overall there is sufficient give to the pillow, which is balanced by the proper amount of support. I've read people complain that this pillow is hard, and I while I can understand their comments, I believe they are looking a this the wrong way. Most pillows are filled with air, and some sort of padding material. This is solid padding, but because it is memory foam it gently absorbs your head, and cradles it ever so lightly. It's a hard sensation to describe, but I find it superior to filled pillows.

My first night with the pillow was nice but not perfect. On my first use, I had the thicker end of the pillow towards the head board. While I found this to be very comfortable upon falling asleep, I woke with a stiff neck. I was rather disappointed to wake in this condition, but wanted to give it an honest try. The next night I positioned the pillow so that the thicker portion was under my neck. It was amazing. At first my head felt strange as if it was leaning backwards, but within a few minutes, I realized just how natural this position is. I was able to switch from sleeping on my back to either side with no discomfort at all. Sleeping on my side was probably the best experience. My ears did not get warm at all, and the pillow help my head in a very comfortable position.

After the arrival of our memory foam mattress, I've continued to use this pillow as my only pillow. In the past I've required 2 or more pillows to find a sufficiently comfortable position.

This pillow may not be for everyone, but for me it is the best pillow I've slept on.

This pillow definitely keeps your head cool at night -it doesn't trap heat like other memory foam pillows! Compared to the Z by Malouf pillow it is less dense (material). However, I find the level of softness to be just right. The Z by Malouf pillow is slightly hard and takes some getting used to. The height (thickness) of this pillow is also higher than that of the Malouf pillow, which is nicer (more supportive) and more similar to my regular pillow. It works great for both back and side sleepers. The cover is very soft. My pillow had no "bad smells" when it arrived. Highly recommended!

I LOVE this pillow!! Every night when I first put my head on the pillow, it does remind me ever-so-slightly of a cement block. But then after a few seconds, my head melts perfectly into the pillow. It is soft yet firm. If it gets too soft in that area after sleeping for several hours, I can move my head to a fresh spot and break through the firmness, kind of like creme brulee. It's fun and I love it. It doesn't get mushy like other contour pillows I've had in the past.

I'm a notorious side sleeper and was looking for more support for my neck. I recently returned another "memory foam" pillow I ordered off Amazon, as it was junk. This is my second attempt at finding a decent pillow... And I think we may have a winner!

Pros:

-The pillow arrived quickly (always a plus).

-It didn't have that awful chemical smell straight out of the package, like the other memory foam pillow I had.

-The "cool contour" blue layer really seems to help keep you cool while sleeping. I used to wake up over heated even with the fan on and this has really made a difference.

-The choice between the "high or low loft" as they put it is awesome! So it's still comfortable even while sleeping on your back (using the low loft, of course).

-Perfect amount of support great memory foam; firm but still gives way just the right amount so you don't have any pressure points.

-Very reasonable price plus free shipping (w/ Prime, at least)

Cons:

-Straight out of the box, the blue "Cool Contour" layer is separating from the other section of foam... not sure if this will ever be an issue but it did catch my eye.

And that's about it for cons at the moment (I've only slept on this pillow 3 nights, so I'll update if anything comes up!)

At this point, I'd definitely recommend this pillow.

UPDATE 5/09/2012 I am still totally stoked on this pillow! The quailty is there, the cooling effect of the blue layer has made all the difference, especially now that it's starting to warm up at night. Still highly recommend the pillow! :)

UPDATE #2 7/30/2012 Just because I like keeping people in the loop, I figured I will update again to say I still LOVE this pillow! I use it on it's own every night. I never had nick stiffness anymore. My neck doesn't get sweaty, I sleep better on my side. All in all I really truly recommend this pillow! :)

This pillow feels great when you first lay on it, but then the memory foam quickly squishes to being nearly flat. It really provides little to no support because the contour flattens quickly. I tried the pillow for 4 nights and ended up having a stiff neck every morning.

The workmanship was beautiful, that of a custom made bedding set. Unfortunately, the colors were much darker than it appeared on line, this was not to my liking. I expected a lighter green background with a pastel floral, and it was actually very much darker over all. From the green in the background to the dark rust colored flowers. I was very disappointed, and had to return it.

Greendale Home Fashions Zig Zag Toss Pillows, Village Blue, Set of 2

Well, I suppose these are nice enough pillows, and everything about it is as described EXCEPT THE SIZE. These are advertised as 17" square, but actually are only 14" square, they are much much smaller than they look. Are they useless? No. Are they nice enough pillows? yes. Are they as advertised??? NO!! I also have a similar review of this company's "floor pillow" which was advertised as 20 inches around, but is actually only about 17" around. Very misleading and I would not buy from this store again and if you choose to, subtract about 3-4 inches off your expectations as that seems to be the average they fall short.

Let me start by saying that I really love this pillow and I am very glad that I ordered it. However, I completely agree with other reviewers in t hat the sizing is at least two inches smaller than advertised. For my purposes, a smaller pillow worked well so it wasn't a concern to me but if you truly need a 17' pillow, this is not going to fit the bill for you. Overall it is a great pillow, very good quality and knowing it was smaller before ordering helped in making my decison so thanks to the prior reviewers!

I have never written a review for a product before, but this pillow is such a waste of money that I had to let others know. I was having trouble sleeping on my side (as recommended in pregnancy), so I ordered this pillow. It is the most uncomfortable and bulky pillow imaginable. The size is insane to try to sleep with (never mind getting out of bed with it there). The velcro that puts the two pillows together rubbed my skin all night. After sleeping with this pillow for 2 nights, my back ached miserably and I am so overtired. I tried to make it work because I spent 72 dollars on it (after 2 day shipping), but I threw it out of bed last night at 3:00 AM after waking up with an aching back and a velcro scratch from this "pillow." HORRIBLE!

the pillows are really big, i have a cal king bed and the pillows took up more than half of the bed, leaving my poor husband squished off to the side and practically falling off the bed. the fabric on the pillow covers had already started to pill before I had even used it. was not impressed and returned the pillow.

This pillow works ideal. For anyone that has neck and should pain this item helps to resolve your pain issues as long as you take some measured steps in addition to how you sleep at night. I am prone to getting a pinched nerve in my neck mostly on my right side likely since I am right handed. Your first set is a) stop mousing on the computer connected to the side of your neck pain...also get a computer chair (also known as a "kneeling chair," b) see a chiropractor if you don't have one already, c) do your PT exercises daily, d) drinks lots of water and last but not least ..... Get This Pillow to Sleep on at Night !

These steps will likley improve your pain significantly if not resolve your problem completely. It would be nice if someone would start making covers for this pillow (most people are saying there is a need for one). This would provide extra support to the material it is made from. It tends to flaten out too much because the cloth it is made from is very light weight and elactic. A quick fix is to place the pillow inside your pillow case in front of your exsisting pillow, so that it supports your neck first. I am so happy with it I would prefer sleeping on the pillow alone. Having its own pillow case would protect the item and firm up the support you will need perfectly.

After 8 weeks of this I am healed completely !

These sheets are luxurious and elegant. The problem is I have never seen so many loose and hanging threads attached on a product. It was like the Italians knew this item was going for dirt cheap and they said why should we clean it up. It took me over an hour to do that cleaning up. The sheets were everything I hoped for afterwards. Some say the 4 item set with fitted and loose sheet you can see through and is flimsy. Not here. These are made of first rate cotton. We'll see how long they last, but for now I am satisfied. The cost was very cheap given the quality, so I didn't mind the lost hour.

Customer service is horrible. They lead you to believe the 5 year warranty is for replacement. The "replacement" is them letting you buy another one for about the same price as a new one, not including shipping of course. The pillow is foam with a thin tshirt knit pillow case. My husbands pillow made it 4,years and just started coming apart with pin holes in the case. Mine is a little better but I just bought him a Tri Core pillow -better quality for the price. Buyer beware.

Hotel Down Chamber Pillow

A perfect balance of elastic recoil and mechanical compliance. These people oughta design artificial lungs. I think king pillow cases would work better than queens, (and get a proton pack) because these things are bigger and fluffier than Stay Puft.

It's not too firm and ok. If it's a bit bigger, would've been nicer.

overall, good pillow but not really a hotel pillow good.

I was hoping to find a goose down and feather pillow similar to the thick plush yet firm type I have

slept on in some hotels. Well I found it! This pillow is exactly what I had hoped it would be, plush and soft, yet firm. Only problem I had is that the packaging(you know, the nice heavy plastic, with zipper and handles so you can store it), was absolutely filthy. The white handles were not white anymore, and anyplace you touch left dirt or dust or something all over your hands. That being said, when I unzipped the bag the pillow seemed fine, no dirt or dust. I am keeping the pillow, I love the pillow, but I threw the packaging away, and washed my hands!

This multi purpose pillow is way too soft for my liking.

When I rest my knee on it, it totally goes flat. There is no control

or support from it.

When I place my head on the pillow, same thing. No support for my head.

It might be multi position, but it lacks in the multi support department.

I have CFIDS and fibromyalgia, plus I am extremely overweight.I have seen similar pillows at WalMart and others for 3 to 4 times the price! At this clearance price, I just couldn't pass up trying it out, and I'm so glad I did! The combination of this pillow and my Memory Foam mattress have greatly increased the amount of uninterrupted sleep time for me, which is so crucial for CFIDS/fibro sufferers. I now get 5-6 hours of sleep, compared to the 3 or less hours I was getting before due to back pain. At this price, if you suffer from back pain while sleeping, I recommend you try it.
