Westin Heavenly® Mattress Pad

I bought the Heavenly Bed mattress but wasn't wowed by it until the mattress pad arrived. This item MAKES the bed. It's a must have if you also have the Heavenly Bed. I actually didn't even think mattress pads mattered until I got this one. Big difference. I can't comment on whether other mattress pads are as good, but this one is excellent.

I bought this mattress in a California King in April of 2012. It is September 2012 and I filed a warranty claim because after about 3 months the bed formed a hump in the middle and the two side where we sleep are caved in. I filed the claim and I was denied a claim from Simmons because they stated that this is normal. I am freaking out because what is this mattress going to be like in a year!! Let only any more years. I feel like my boyfriend and I might as well have bought twin beds because the hump in the middle separates us. We are also not big people. He's 180 pounds at I am 135 pounds.

I couldn't decide whether to go with this one or something different like the down mattress topper I had purchased for my previous bed. Since I ordered the heavenly bed and saw a lot of rave reviews for this official mattress pad, I went ahead and ordered it. I realize it's a pad, not a topper, but the reviews swayed me. It's fine, but I don't feel it makes any kind of measurable difference in comfort, which is where I think some of the reviews were misleading. For the price, I would definitely prefer to invest this amount into a down mattress topper. If it's additional comfort you're after, go for the down mattress topper.

For the cost of this mattress pad, I expected a better quality with more padding in the pad itself. I was disappointed.
