Boppy Total Body Pillow

I was so excited when I saw this pillow because the breastfeeding Boppy pillow is so wonderful. However, after getting it home and sleeping on it for a few nights, it actually made me feel worse! I am only five feet tall and it really is too short in the crotch area. I have no idea how anyone taller than me sleeps with this thing. Also, there is NO tummy support--which us pregnant women need...so needless to say I was using it in conjunction with another pillow for my tummy. (Which defeated the entire purpose of buying a pillow like this in the first place!) Since I'd spent so much on it in the first place, I've tried to keep using it, and am more disappointed every single night. It really lost it's fluffiness in the head part and I've had to use another pillow under it. Long story short, I've quit using it and will yard sale it in the Spring. I've used a Snoogle pillow and LOVED it--and I've got another one on the way (I gave my first one away to my sister). I would not buy this product and wished I had kept my receipts/packaging because I would have definately sent this back for a refund. I am not happy at all with it's quality, size, or utility!

The pillow felt flattened from the time I opened the package. I can't imagine what it would feel like after months of use. After one night, I am returning it, because it just isn't supporting me (which is not a rave review as I'm early in my 2nd trimester!). I wouldn't recommend this productit doesn't live up to the Boppy name.

I am 24 weeks pregnant, and I own this pillow. Before buying it, I was attempting to "make-do" with other pillows I had around the house, and I was waking up multiple times per night, adjusting them back into place. The Boppy pillow has been wonderful. It conforms to my curled-up body, helps me sleep better on my side, and provides great comfort. The pillow is seamed so that the filling doesn't shift around and form lumps during the night. Most importantly, I have been able to sleep through the night peacefully. It was well worth the money. My only complaints are (1) I have to completely flip the pillow over if I want to change sides during the night, and (2) my husband complains that I take up too much of the bed now. I say, too bad for him. :)

I am glad the negative reviews did not deter me from purchasing this pillow! I am 16 weeks along and have been having a terrible ache on my right side for the past couple of weeks which I attribute to the weight I carry due to my large hobo purse. So, I bought this body pillow 5 days ago hoping it might alleviate some of my side pains. After using it for the past 5 nights my back/side pain is completely gone. I am amazed and so in love with my boppy body pillow. Before I got it I was rolling around, changing positions all night and ending up a lot of times on my back. With the boppy pillow I can go to sleep on my left side and wake up in the morning still on my left side completely comfortable. I think because my legs are so wrapped around the pillow it makes movement a little more challenging?? I don't know but this pillow makes me very happy. I look forward to cuddling up with it every night! Hopefuly it will still be comfortable when my belly really pops!

I am on my second pregnancy and second boppy body pillow because I totally wore the last one out! I loved it so much, so for Mother's Day this year, I received a new one. On the packaging it boasts "Better Fluffy Stuff" and that is one of the first things I noticed. The packaging is much larger to accomodate the newly enhanced stuffing. It seems that Boppy has taken many of the customer complaints into consideration and improved the stuffing quality.

Only time will tell if this boppy stands up to the test, but so far it's great. I had no complaints about my original boppy...sure it was more of a "floppy" than a boppy by the time I was done with it, but I consider that normal wear and tear for a pillow that gets squished, tossed, and turned through the night for over a year (yes, I used it well past my baby's birth date because I had grown quite attached to the thing). Overall a great product, my only complaint is that the price be lowered a bit....I mean, come on, it's just a strangely shaped pillow!
