Brisa Memory Foam Hypoallergenic Travel Pillow

Brisa Memory Foam Hypoallergenic Travel PillowThe pillow is a great shape, and a nice size for packing, but it was not firm enough for me. The memory foam squishes down for packing, however I found that it also squished down too much for sleeping. Might be fine for someone else.

Cotton Rich 1000 Thread Count Standard Pillowcase Set

Cotton Rich 1000 Thread Count Solid Standard Pillowcase Set, PlumArrived on time and the quality is excellent! I love nice sheets...one of life's little comforts I don't like to miss out on.

I'm not sure what the other reviewer received, but the pillowcases I got were indeed high TC cotton. A pre-wash before the first use had them still crisp but not scratchy. They *aren't* flimsy or thin. I can tell from my experience with other all-cotton sheets I've owned that these will get even softer over more uses and washes but still be substantial enough to hold up well over time.

Worst purchase poor quality, falling apart after 2 washes. Total rip-off! DO NOT BUY! Thought I was getting a great deal even with Prime..I was fooled.

Sanders Home Collection Contempo Reversible 8-Piece Bed in a Bag Bedding Set, Truffle

Sanders Home Collection Contempo Reversible 8-Piece King Bed in a Bag Bedding Set, TruffleNot the best bed set... But I also didn't expect it to be the best either because of the price. Basically the comforter is a little thin, but not to thin. The comforter is also a little small, it barely covers both sides of the mattress. The fitted sheet gets loose and sloppy on the mattress the first time you lay on the bed. Other than that the sheets look good, feel okay and the colors are nice too. Overall you get an okay value for your buck...

The Total Body Support Pillow.

The Total Body Support Pillow. My sleep doctor had first suggested I try the SONA FDA-Cleared Anti-Snore and Mild Sleep Apnea Pillow to help with my apnea. That pillow was useless for my apnea, but furthermore it was quite painful on my arm when used according to its instructions.

After I had a sleep study done it was found that I had minimal apnea when I slept on my side. So after that SONA pillow failure, my sleep doctor suggested this one. This pillow is the perfect shape for side sleeping, with proper head, neck, and body support. It didn't do anything for my apnea, but it is a very good sleeping pillow. Cons: It's large, as you can tell from the product picture, and it also seems to mess up my hair worse than any other pillow I've had. But overall, it's a great, comfortable pillow.

I thought I would love this since I used a body pillow in front of me and one behind me and a pillow for my head. BUT I didn't like the pillow part where my head because it was too poofy! I do like both sides being connected so if you like poofy pillows, you will love this.

Buy The Total Body Support Pillow. Now

I love this product. It provides excellent support for my neck and lower back issues. The only issue keeping this from being a 5 star product is that because it is all one solid pillow the stuffing is very quickly compacted into the ends are requires some fluffing/working to redistribute to maintain the support and shape of the pillow. Otherwise, it fulfills all the product advertisement.

Super comfy. It just wraps all the way around you. You can also prop yourself up different ways with it. And if you roll over, it catches you. I have an issue with my shoulder and this is what I needed. It is an expensive pillow but I am happy that I bought it. If you have pain issues or you toss and turn... or you need something to snuggle with... get this pillow.

Smartsilk Duvet Comforter

Smartsilk Duvet Comforter, King SizeLOVE having a silk comforter. I like it because it is comfortable 3 seasons, despite my poor personal temp. regulation. The fibers seem evenly distributed even after washing. It is very nice not to have the dust mites and allergens like down but also not the sweaty discomfort of synthetic fibers.

Hi,

We have a nice bed, but it seems to be getting taller every year or two. We purchased a new foam mattress, [a nice purchase], but it was 2" taller than the mattress it replaced, and out comforter was already barely covering the flat part, let alone hang down the sides.

So we looked around, we found this, and ordered it.

We are both happy, the quality of the fabric and workmanship is very nice, it is a good purchase from every perspective.

We would happily buy it again.

The comforter is a great one overall. Sometimes it can get a little too warm for me, but it does not make me sweat--which is excellent!

This is a phenomenal blanket. I have had down blankets in the past and I prefer this because it is a lot lighter and nothing pokes through. It also does not bunch up. If you expect the fluffiness of a down comforter you will be surprised, silk is a lot less bulky. Another great feature is that it is machine washable which most down comforters are not.

Be advised that this blanket is very warm in spite of how thin/light weight it is. I like to sleep in a cold room, 60-65 degrees. This is perfect for me however it would probably be too warm under other circumstances.

I'm surprised they call this a "duvet comforter" it is a comforter; the duvet

is a removable cover used over the comforter to keep it from getting soiled;

since it's for a baby (crib size) the duvet was just as important as the comforter

which was a gift for a new mother. I finally found someone on line to make the

duvet (from a twin size flat sheet) and it is beautiful and fits perfectly since

it was made to fit the exact size of the comforter. When I purchased the comforter

I didn't realize finding a duvet to fit it would be so difficult.

T300 Cotton Loft Throw, Navy BlueI purchased one for myself and when I saw how nice it was I purchased one for my husband too. The cotton throw is comfortatle and warm in winter and also perfect for summer. They wash up so nice. The greatest thing is that they are long enough to cover our feet when in our recliners. Also there is no lint or balling up and dog hair does not stick to it. I would recommend it to others without reservations.

This throw isn't very large or warm. It collects ALL THE FUZZ, especially the light colored one I got. Go with a different one.

SafeRest Premium Hypoallergenic Bed Bug Proof Zippered Waterproof Pillow Protector (1) Queen Size

SafeRest Premium Hypoallergenic Bed Bug Proof Zippered Waterproof Pillow Protector Queen SizeI bought these pillow covers in the standard size. They are a quality made terry cloth cover with a water proof backing. They are water proof and quiet. I agree with the reviewer who said they change the feel of your pillow. The reason for this is because they are not breathable. Since they are not breathable they do not allow the air out that escapes from your pillow when you lay on them. This makes the pillows hard and uncomfortable to lay on. I found that leaving the cover partially unzipped helps let some of the air out but not enough to keep the original feel of your pillow. I haven't noticed a build up of heat but because they are not breathable as advertised I gave the covers three stars.

We bought a new mattress so I did a lot of research on mattress covers before I purchased one. I was very impressed with this mattress cover and would highly recommend it to others. It exceeded our expectations once we received it.

Disney Cars Pillow Sham in Black

Disney Cars Pillow Sham in BlackI wish so badly that this sham looked like it did in the picture. The colors are definitely not as vibrant as they appear to be on Lightning McQueen and the writing. He is more of a rusty orange instead of a vibrant red on this sham. Since I'm using it with other truly red items it should blend well so I'll keep it.

Super cute but the lightning image on the front is super faded looking and seems like its rubbing off, havn't even washed it yet?

300TC Sateen Stripe Pillow Sham

Navy 300TC Sateen Stripe Pillow Sham, StandardI liked these at first despite the amount of lint they attracted. However, after a month or so of use, I couldn't stand them. The opening for the pillow is off to the one end, instead of in the middle like usual. This causes the pillow to slip out and the sham looks sloppy. Not a good design and I definitely wouldn't recommend this product anymore.

First, I just want to note that these shams are sold in packages of ONE--I mistakenly assumed they came in packages of two (isn't this how shams are usually sold?) and had to re-order a second one).

I purchased the sage-color shams--although this is no longer sold, you can see the color by viewing the matching bedskirt (MARRIKAS 300TC Egyptian Cotton KING Bed Skirt STRIPE SAGE). My husband and I were still using shams which matched an old comforter which we no longer owned, and we wanted an updated look.

These Sateen shams provided the modern, clean look we wanted, as they were one of the few products that we could find without ruffles or other frills. The shade of green was perfect to match the new quilt on our bed, and I love the subtle striped color variation. When I received the shams, they were packaged up and folded, so I had to iron them prior to placing them on the bed. We purchased the standard size, which works fine on our queen-sized bed (the pillows we use for the shams are standard-size pillows).

I have only a few very minor complaints. First, the fabric of the shams is fairly thin. This means that it does not hold its shape very well, both for spreading it across the front of the pillow and for standing up the ruffle. For the reason, it does NOT look quite like the photo; even though I starched the ruffle a bit when I ironed the sham, there is no way that it will stand up so neat as pictured here (although I somewhat expected this). Finally, the slit in the back to insert the pillow is off-center, which makes this task more difficult than if this had been centered (as it was with my old shams).

Overall, however, my husband and I are happy with our new shams, and we would recommend them.

I recently purchased these pillow shams to go with a new comforter.

The shade and color are perfect and match my new comforter perfectly. The only downside is that the material is very light and thin so you have to be careful when putting your pillows into the sham.

Roho Sleepmatterzzz Ultra Memory Foam Cervical Pillow - Standard Size, Dual Valve

Roho Sleepmatterzzz Ultra Memory Foam Cervical Pillow - Standard Size, Dual ValveI have back & neck problems and this is the best pillow I have ever tried (and I have tried many). It is better than an all-memoryfoam pillow because all types of foam eventually get compressed. This pillow is filled with air and I can adjust the air to exactly the best height for me. I have had one for 4-5 years and it is just now beginning to show age signs, but I still use it under my knees. This new one is better than the first because it has two air chambers. It adjusts easily and rarely needs to have air added. I tried a water-filled pillow once and it worked fairly well, but it was so heavy that I could barely lift it! The Sleepmatterzzz Ultra pillow is great for my neck and whole back (if my neck gets out of whack, then my whole spine gets out of alignment and my whole back ends up in pain too). I was afraid to try the less expensive version -which does not have memory foam surrounding it -because the other one had worked so extremely well for me. This is the BEST pillow I have every had.

Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest Beware the Kraken Decorator Pillow Kraken

Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest Beware the Kraken Decorator Pillow KrakenAfter searching high and low for microbead pillows that weren't the usual tubular neck-support kind, I gratefully found these. The good news is they are very well-constructed; they are double-covered by stretchy fabric so they don't leak... The bad news is they are OVER-stuffed. The whole idea behind micro-beads is to provide incredibly cloud-soft support that utterly conforms to body parts -head, neck, back -without pressure points. Compared with the microbead neckrolls I already own, this pillow is like a solid lump. It's not very squishy. THAT'S THE WAY IT SHOULD BE IF YOU MOSTLY WANT IT FOR THE PIRATE-THEMED DESIGN. IF COMFORT ISN'T AN ISSUE, I'D GIVE IT FIVE STARS. The neckrolls that are designed purely for comfort seem to be half air-filled. Microbead pillows, particularly square ones, "slump." They are formless by nature. My situation is unusual in that I didn't want them for the design at all. I wanted comfy throw pillows for reclining porch chairs and these were the biggest ones I could find. To make them comfy I had to remove a LOT of beads. This is not easy. As I said, they are "double-bagged" with incredibly tiny stitches that are hard to pick out. The microbeads themselves are very difficult to control. They cling to everything. Re-sewing the seams demands care and some talent. The beads can leak out of the tiniest void in the stitching. In retrospect, it would have been easier to make them from scratch. Microbeads are hard to find but, I believe, you can order a bag from JoAnn Fabrics. Just don't forget to buy soft stretchy fabric like the type seen on all microbead pillows.

12 PC. MODERN BED IN A BAG OVERSIZED, COMFORTER SET W/ MATCHING PILLOWS AND SHEET SET

12 PC. MODERN BED IN A BAG OVERSIZED, GREEN/CHOCOLATE COMFORTER SET W/ MATCHING PILLOWS AND SHEET SET, KINGI just recently moved into a new home and was in the market for new bedroom stuff. My bedroom was previously "too girlie" according to my husband so i was looking for something we would both enjoy. I wasn't entirely sure what i was looking for but when i stumbled upon this set i immediately knew it had to have it. It's gorgeous! Not to mention it's a 12 pc set which just makes it that much more awesome. The comforter is very sturdy-very good quality and the pillows just make the set pop! Another bonus is you're able to wash this one in your washing machine, which i have done, and much to my surprise, based on my previous experiences, the comforter just came out clean! Not damaged, not faded, nothing. You can imagine my relief. The quality of the sheets are poor but hey, what can you expect? It's not often you find a comforter set that comes with the decorative pillows. Over all i am MORE than happy with the set. It looks beautiful in my bedroom AND it's definitely a good "co-ed" comforter. I would recommend this set to anyone. it's a great purchase for the price. Just make sure you already have your own sheets :)

Was all I expected and more, exact colors I wanted and material was very nice too. Loved this product and would recommend to others for sure.

Chimney Balloon Fireplace Damper 36"X15" Draft Stopper Pillow Plug

Chimney Balloon Fireplace Damper 36'X15' Draft Stopper Pillow PlugPurchased 36x15 balloon through their website. I had a very hard time getting it in place. I probably ended up scraping it in the process, because the balloon would not hold air for more than a few days. I emailed Chimney Balloon last night. Within 12 hours someone called me, walked through my chimney dimensions (which were a little unsual). He offered a free replacement with a custom sized balloon!

***1 year update: balloon is still in place, holding air. Don't forget to check if it needs more air when it gets cold out (just like your car tires)

I recently bought three of these products directly from the manufacturer and have so far installed two of them. They are the proper size for each fireplace.

Here are some observations that may be of help to people considering purchase of this product. The fireplaces here are traditional (non-gas) wood-burning fireplaces with a metal damper just above the firebox.

For starters, after a number of attempts, I realized that I could not install the balloon well with the damper plate still in the flue. Why? My dampers are shaped like rectangles, with the long side parallel to the front of the fireplace. There is a rod that goes through the middle of the damper plate, left to right, and serves as a pivot to rotate this rectangular plate so that, when as open as it can be, perpendicular to the bottom of the fireplace, it leaves an opening on either side of only about 1 1/2"-2". You then have to insert the uninflated balloon through this very narrow opening and then, with your hand (mine is on the small side), which can barely fit through the opening, try to fit it to the opening so that , when inflated, it will form a good seal with the edges and so prevent air from escaping up the chimney. After a number of attempts I realized that I couldn't get a good enough fit. I would blow the balloon up partly until it started to shape itself to the sides, then test it to see how much leakage there was. I could not get a good seal. The way I figured out the fit is by using an incense stick, which I lit until there was a flame, which I then blew out, allowing a plume of smoke to rise from it. I then used a flashlight to see how the rising smoke would behave. I held the end of the stick about an inch away from the area being tested (be careful not to touch the balloon) . What I learned is that sometimes you would get the smoke curling up and sort of dawdling there as though it didn't know where to go. This was a sign of a good seal. Other times, the smoke would go straight up quickly in a thin plume through the opening that it found. No matter how often I awkwardly tried to reposition the balloon above the damper opening I wound up with a number of poor seals through which air just rushed out. Another problem with getting a good fit with the plate in place is that the "handle" through which you blow air extends down below the body of the balloon and so sticks out and into the damper opening below it, right next to the damper plate. (This is after removing the long tube used to blow air into the balloon.) I then examined the damper plate and realized that it could be removed by lifting up one end, angling that end up into the chimney about a foot (your proportions may well be different) and then pulling the rod out of the socket into which it fit on the other side. I could then bring the plate down through the opening, removing it.

After doing this it became possible to position the balloon, going through the same process as described above, but with much better success. By blowing it up partially, testing, sucking out some of the air, very gently repositioning it, and so on, I achieved a decent but still not great fit. At this point I realized that especially in some corners the balloon could not form itself tightly around the edges of the opening. I then came up with the notion of using polyfill (a cotton-like material) to seal up those particular areas. Now, when tested, I got a tight seal all around.

As I now see it, the main advantage of this system is that, if you want to start a fire in the fireplace, you could take the balloon down and then, with some hassle, put it back in later. It's not clear to me that, if you did not want to use the fireplace at all, this would be any better than fitting either a metal or wood covering above the firebox and sealing the edges with some sort of fire-resistant foam. You would, at least with my kind of set-up, have to remove the damper plate.

I might add that the instructions that come with the balloon make no mention of having to remove the damper plate. Perhaps it isn't necessary in all cases but it certainly was in mine. If you do decide to install one of these do wear safety glasses and an aspirator rated for fine toxic dust would probably be a good idea as stuff can come down on you as you face upward. Others have remarked that this is a dirty job. True, and then some. I would suggest putting some plastic sheeting on the firebox floor and the parts of the fireplace exterior to that floor.

As time allows I will post some additional remarks.

As always, constructive criticism is more than welcome.

I purchased this item directly from the manufacturer. I had wasps coming down my chimney and they managed to get around the flue. I was able to seal my fireplace doors but would have maybe 60-70 dead\dying insects in my fireplace by the end of summer. This item has solved my problem. Installation and removal is simple and take about 5 minutes in my situation. This is the 3rd summer I've used this with no problems. Highly recommended.

Update: I noticed when removing CB last fall that the balloon was slightly deflated. After contacting the company and doing some simple diagnostic tests we were able to determine the valve on the extension was leaking. Even though this part was long out of warranty the company sent me a new replacement part at no cost.
