I travel. A lot. In the past year I've been on the road approximately 320 days, which is a lot of hotels, hotel beds and hotel pillows.

I used this pillow on a recent trip to New York City. I got stuck in a room in Manhattan that was somewhat less than stellar. Actually, it really stunk. The pillows were about 3-4 inches thick without any weight on them. With the pillowfix inserted into the pillow case, I had a great night of sleep for all three nights that I was in NYC.

A word of caution: Don't forget to take it with you when you go. I left mine and had to buy another.

Well worth it though as I travel a lot now.

I'm very happy with PillowFix. I originally purchased it because I travel often and wanted to always have a comfortable pillow at the hotel. But then I found great uses for it at home as well. Because it's adjustable I can use it in a variety of ways. When fully inflated I love it for reading in bed. Low level inflation makes my favorite down pillow feel much fuller. It was also very handy when my son got sick and needed to sleep with his head elevated due to heavy congestion. While a nice product overall and a good value for the money, I found the fabric to be somewhat rough. Also, the colors were not as described. The red color was more of a rust color.

I received the comforter set (comforter bedskirt shams) the pillow arrived at a separate time. I opened everything up and was a little disappointed that the comforter was not more "Brick" colored it looked pretty "Gold" to me. Anyway, I decided that maybe a Valance added to the room would complete the picture. When I tried to order the valance it was unavailable. I tried several (5) different websites and had no luck. I even tried to order a different valance that I thought would blend, but it did not and I had to send it back. So I decided to return the whole comforter set & pillow to the manufacturer which is "Yankee Retail Company". The problem was, I threw out my return form and had to call the company about returning the product.

They were impossible to get a hold of, even on the computer "live chat". When I finally reached someone, I asked if I could return everything, and was told that it had to be in it's original packages and sent within 15 days. Well, all I had was the original big comforter bag which I put everything in, however, the bedskirt and shams were in separate small packages within the comforter bag and I no longer had them. I still sent everything out UPS last week and I think I was on the 14th day of the 15 day deadline. I don't know if they are going to credit my account or not, but I think it would be really rotten not to receive a credit because I'm missing a small bag or I'm one day over the deadline. Most businesses let you return products for 30 days! It also cost me $50.00 to return.

I haven't heard from Yankee Retail Company yet, I just sent it back on August 30th, but I certainly would not do business with them again.

Levinsohn Terry Top Waterproof Pillow Protector

Due to hormone imalance, I sweat like crazy. Regular waterproof pillow covers make it worse, since they protect your pillow by soaking you instead. For comparison since I plan to buy them for every pillow in the house I purchased one of these and one labeled as "Comfort Shield" terry top. The others are thicker, but also stiff as a board. This brand goes limp when I hold it, as if its silk. I washed them and put them on my pillows this one feels better. The other feels like I have a towel stuffed in my pillow case.

Since I've only washed them once, no news on how they hold up in the long run, but I plan to buy this brand for every bed in the house.

these sheets are great. they fit well on the mattress and are a nice texture. although a little expensive I expect that I'm paying for QUALITY. The colors match what is described so no surprises there. neutral tones that are pleasing to both female and male tastes!

Nice looking sheets & decent quality. A bit stiff, but fairly heavy weight and should stand up to quite a few washings.

The bottom sheet fits my deep mattress well. I move around a lot when I sleep, but the elastic all around the bottom sheet holds it in place.

In my travels I have come to appreciate fine bedding, and normally Egyptian cotton sheets are more durable, and yet soft and smooth against the skin. The sheets that arrived were of very poor quality cotton, and if they are indeed an 800 thread count, the thread is of a substandard quality, and certainly the sheets are actually a 400 count sheet of 2-ply thread, not a true 800 count sheet. The sheets themselves were crude to the touch, and while soft the surface was uneven and did not keep its integrity once washed. The stitching was a looser stitch setting, and the elastic in the fitted bottom sheet was very weak. Overall, these sheets are terrible and I feel like I am the victim of marketing disinformation. I will not buy sheets online again, but only when I can touch them before purchasing them.

It pushes your shoulder too far away from the pillow and could not provide any support like it should.

The material is too stiff and makes a lot of noise when I turn, so it keeps me awake. I finally gave up, after two hours trying.

The reason I at least give it two stars is that I use it in my car. I inflate it half way, fold it in halves, and it will give my neck a little support.

This comforter is great much softer then it looks in the picture. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the seams are loose but I believe you get what you pay for. Also I bought the king size for my queen bed, and it's perfect! Over all I love the set it's exactly what I want to give my room that wow, my husband even likes it :) if I could do it again I would buy this one!

The package came on time, that thrilled me. Beautiful set, fit great, I only have two issues. A section of about three inches of the pintucking was not pintucked and across the top layer of the light tan section, there is three odd black stitches about two inches long each that just is out of nowhere...in a different section of the pintucking. It made me upset, but not enough so to return it. Still nice though!

The comforter was not good at. But the the rest of the stuff the pillows and the sheets and stuff were just what they said and wonderful I would return the comforter but it does reverse so that saves it.

If you don't care, I would say go for it as set looks nice. But for my Elmo fan this would be too warm and he will not be able to sleep in without sweating.. so this goes back.

Amazon gets a thumb down on this one.. very disappointed. Btw, it is the second time this happened.. Had the same problem when purchased "Sesame Street Construction Zone 4 Piece Toddler Set" and again received a 100% polyester product, despite the description.

so this product is LOVED by my almost 3 year son. It gets him to sleep and to STAY in his bed at night. so for that I would give it 5 stars.

a few negatives:

1) the product is much cheaper at buy buy baby...was only 39.99 and when you use a 20% coupon it's even cheaper!

2) i accidentally bought this set for my sons twin size bed. That was my error!

3) the material is scratchy and cheap but what can you expect when you're paying under 40 dollars for the entire set!

of course, my son doesn't really know the difference.

right now, i put a warmer blanket underneath to provide my son some warmth and comfort. the elmo blanket is just for show on top to let my son have fun!

It sounds wierd, but, since they are somewhat slippery-It's easier for me to move around, and i don't wake up so much. They are a pretty mulberry colorpurplish red, not a bright purple as shown in the picture. Definately worth the price.

Overall, I like these sheets. As the other reviewer said, these aren't as shiny as the picture suggests (but the color is noticeably vibrant) and they are somewhat slippery. They're extremely comfortable and I can certain see why people pay so much for them.

The only real problem I have is how hard it is to clean them. Any amount of heat will just ruin silk.

It's hard to find "fitted flat sheets" for cribs/toddler beds. I thought that's what I was buying here but it's not. The flat sheet is just that...a flat sheet that fits a crib sized mattress. It works just fine and I would probably buy again but I am still on the hunt for a top/flat sheet that has one end that has elastic on it to keep it on the bed.
