Boss Executive Pillow Top Chair with Headrest

Boss Executive Pillow Top Chair with Headrest
  • Ultra-soft, breathable upholstery that looks & feels like leather.
  • Upholstered in Black CaressoftPlus
  • Padded armrests and headrest.
  • Adjustable tilt tension control
  • Pneumatic gas lift seat height adjustment
  • Large 27-inch base with black caps

Had this chair for a few days, and can only give it an OK rating. Delivery and assembly were fine, the box arrived in one piece. Assembly was simple, you need a phillips screwdriver. One caveat: the plastic cover for the headrest connection broke off when I tried to pry it off to install the headrest (it came attached to the seat back). Not sure how to get it off cleanly, use extreme care.

The cushions are more of a plastic feel than fabric, and seem a little thin. I get the feeling that this material will not wear well. The base and arms are plastic, no metal here at all.

I was perturbed at the little flyer included that put a "NO" slash across an image of a person leaning back in the chair with their feet on the desk. WTH? Why else would you get an executive chair with a headrest if you couldn't lean back in it? This accounts for the low grade.

Also note that the included docs specify a load limit of 250 pounds (a little detail not given in the product description).

I'll try to come back and update this after using it for a while, but all in all I can't recommend it.
