I like these silk pillow protectors better than silk pillow cases, and I use them as pillow cases. Silk cases tend to slip off the pillow, and it is annoying to have to put them back on all the time. These stay put and provide all the benefits of silk, which is the reason I use them. Not only do silk pillow covers help reduce "bed hair," but it helps keep facial skin smooth, due to the amino acids in silk. They are very reasonably priced, as well. These cases are well-constructed and have smooth-working hidden zippers. They wash nicely in cold water and detergent safe for silk. (I love Forever New!) Then I put them in the dryer on low for a few minutes and then take them out to air dry. They look like new every time. I highly recommend these silk pillow protectors and will buy again when I need more.
I purchased this silk pillow cover, at the same time that I purchased my silk filled pillow. It seems to be very well made and adds to the comfort of the pillow. I am going to order a second one, so I can have one in our motorhome as well as at home.
