Luxury?? Not so much. I don't see this costing $399 originally. I recently bought this comforter set for my daughter. Needless to say, although it may look pretty, we were very disappointed with it once it finally came in. The picture makes it look like it's a nice thick, soft, comforter. It's not. We knew it wasn't microfiber or material like that, the description does say that it's polyester. However, we didn't expect it to be a very shiny, silky, yet very very picky comforter set. I'm washing it now and using fabric softener hoping it will make the material a little bit softer and maybe take the pickiness away. Hopefully it doesn't fall apart in the wash because it's a very very thin cheap comforter. The pillows and sham covers are also very picky so they are definitely only good for show. If you tried to lay your face on them, you would probably end up with a very red rashy face. Soooo very disappointed in this product. I do not recommend it to anyone. I'll stick to buying my comforters from a store so I can touch and feel it before purchasing it. Don't buy this comforter. You'll regret it.
The service for delivery was excellent as well as the price.
When I opened the box I was excited about putting on the new comforter.
*the bedskirt was HUGE, big enough for a king bed and it was suppose to be for a queen. I had to tuck it under the mattress to make it look appealing and fit correctly. Also the paper like material on the bedskirt is very poor quality. I thought it was going to tear as I was adjusting it to fit.
*the comforter itself was the same way...very very poor quality. the length of the comforter is short period!! The width is way to long, it looks like it was made backwards.
*the material of the comforter is very thin as well...I don't know why it was made so thin almost like a bedspread.
If I could return this item I would gladly do so and try to order another comforter. I am not happy about this one at all. I have ordered many items off of Amazon and have been happy with all other purchase but this one literally is BAD.Materials stiff and rough but it gets a little better when washed. Comforters stitching is starting to fall apart after 4 months. Warm enough for Michigan winters. if I had to do it over I would go to the store so I could judgetexture.The picture looks better than the actual product. The center color on this comforter is a pinkish color and DOES NOT look good at all. I bought this online as a christmas gift for my 17 year old daughter. Only reason for buying on line is a back injury that severely limits how much time I can be on my feet. Now I have to scramble to find something else and get it to her in time as she does not live with me. The texture and the feel of the product is great, the color.....not at all. On the whole I am VERY disappointed with my purchase.
The upside, the buying experience and shipping times were definitley quite good so kudos on that.
