This is a high quality product. I had a similar queen size comforter in 800 thread count gold for years, but the time had come to replace it. I had a very difficult time finding a high quality damask strip in 100% egyptian cotton with a high thread count. This company is the only one that sells these for a reasonable price. The King size, however, is more like an Oversize King/California King unless I just bought a grossly inadequate king size comforter. I contacted the seller, Egyptian Cotton Factory Outlet Store, and they couldn't have been nicer. They gave me numerous options for replacement/return, and I decided to keep the duvet cover and get a larger comforter. The fabric is tightly woven with a lustrous sheen, so it is dense but also light and easy to handle. After years of washing my old comforter kept a nice sheen, and I expect this new one will be the same. I am tempted now to buy some sheet sets from this company!

As other reviewers have stated, this is an incredible sleep aid system, with crisp sound quality and a wide variety of sound choices. The sleep enhancement features lull you to sleep gently, it has been very effective with bouts of mild insomnia. Have tried another unit from Sharper Image, this Sound Oasis is FAR superior in quality and features. The unit design is elegant and in many ways brilliantly simple in its operation.

Now for the BUT if you are looking for an easy to use and effective alarm clock, this may not be the one. It only has one alarm which is extremely slow to set, having only one button to set it forward and not back if you overshoot. Although it has an effective beep for the alarm, if you choose to wake via sounds, the only choice is the one you fell asleep to. Hard to get out of bed with the relaxing sounds of waves or hypnotic spa rhythms! Wish you could set separate sounds for sleep and wake. The long snooze duration, a full 10 minutes that cannot be changed is a bit too long, just long enough to fall back asleep completely. Its also far too easy to mistakenly hit the snooze button twice, which effectively turns off the alarm for the day. These flaws make for a frustrating alarm clock, even thought the unit is the best sleep aid I've ever used.

The clock function buttons are a bit stiff but the sleep function and the sounds are great. I haven't used the spa sound card yet. I have always had trouble falling asleep but I am finally able to get to sleep.

I have had a basic Brookstone sound machine that is a good 10 years old and was ready to upgrade. I am always so relaxed and sleepy when I am at the spa or getting a massage so I thought the Spa Sound card would be a nice change from the usual ocean sounds and thunderstorms. I like that this machine is very light and there are a lot of cool features like the "sleep enhancement" button that gradually slows the sounds down as the timer goes down and so somehow is supposed to lull you gently not just cut off abruptly. I am usually asleep way before then so cannot tell you if its true but I suppose it works as I have not had any trouble falling asleep. I like the different sounds and the music. I have had this for a week and half now and am loving it EXCEPT the alarm and clock setting feature. You have to set it with only one button and can not set the hour, minutes and am/pm separetely. So setting the alarm to one time and then trying to change it to another is nearly impossible. I use my phone as an alarm so it is not a hige deal for me. If you are looking for great sound machine I reccomend this. If looking an easy clock/alarm, not so much.

I love the white noise sound. It truly helps me sleep more deeply. It masks room noises and is great as a sleep enhancer.

The clock is another matter. In the past week, it has simply frozen like the North Pole more than six times in 7 days! The only solution is to take out all four batteries and find the tiny reset hole in at the bottom of the battery compartment, poke it with a paper clip and then reset the clock time and the alarm time....V E R Y, V E R Y S L O W L Y!! Do not overshoot the time you need on either function. You have to go back around a full 24 hours to try to get it right again. I read all the reviews before I ordered this machine and thought the others were being "picky" about the difficult setting procedures. Now, I know better. Thankfully, I am retired and do not have to depend on an alarm clock to get up and out of the house and to work on time.

I would not recommend this item as a clock. I have had no problem with the sound cards and the noises available are extremely soothing.

I had been searching for a thin pillow that was soft but not puffy. This fit the bill perfectly. I sleep on my side, back and stomach (I move a lot) but hate having my head up very high. I just need a little, very little, cushioning. These pillows do the trick. Unlike other low density pillows that depress easily and displace the filling only to puff up on either side of your head, this pillow leaves a soft impression with out the nauseating feeling that you are being suffocated by your pillow. too bad they don't make this in a king as we just upgraded and my pillows have been developing a bit of a Napoleonic complex.

The material inside the pillow is just what I had hoped for. Unfortunately it is way to thin. I just had a great idea while typing this post though. I'm going to stuff both pillows in one pillow case and see how that works out. If it don;t work I will be checking to see if I can even return them.

I was having some rather significant neck pain and my chiropractor recommended this pillow. He said that I would hate it the first night (adjustment issues) but after that I would love it. I loved it after the first night. Not sure how much influence it had on resolving my neck issues they are resolved but I was also doing alot of other things but I really feel much better. And love this pillow! It's also much cheaper thru amazon than thru my chiropractor's office.

I hated this pillow on day 1 but loved it by the 3rd day. It's thin which I hated at first but was surprised as my neck pain slowly improved for the first time in years. I like the idea if the side slots but they get lost once you put a pillow case on. My prior pillow was memory foam so this is extremely different. It will take a few days to get accustomed to it being thin but if you have neck pain you'll appreciate it. I hope it holds up for 2-3 years like most do. I downgraded the score because the side slots are hyped and don't work for me

By reading the reviews, I was hopeful this would be my answer to my neck problems and pain. The pillow was hard as a brick and then had all of these different sections to it as well. I was wondering where I should put my head? On top of that hard lump in the middle of the pillow? It made my neck pain worse.

It blows my mind that people really expect that they're going to get 100% Egyptian Cotton 1200 TC sheets for under $25, when the description clearly says that they are microfiber. Thread count means nothing when you're working with microfiber which is NOT cotton, but a polyester and nylon super soft blend. I assume some buyers just read the 1200 TC and assumed they were getting a heavy sort of hotel sheet quality and didn't read any further. My four stars is not based on some expectation that I was getting gold for the price of aluminum foil. They are based on the quality of sheets I got *for the price*. They are SUPER soft. I have had no issues with fitting my bed. If you want the best, skip these, pay the price ,and buy the best! If you REALLY want that Egyptian Cotton, check department stores after the holidays when you might be able to snag a deeply discounted set for between $50-$80. Maybe even less if you get super lucky!

These aren't going to make you happy if you're looking for a set thats going to last 20 years. If you want inexpensive, soft sheets that will last a couple of years..these are a great buy! I have ordered several of these sheet sets over the years in various colors, including this purple....they eventually exhaust their useful life and I just buy another set. These are essentially the same sets you will see around the holidays at Mall Kiosks. If you're leery about it, go to the mall and they'll happily let you inspect them.

100% All Organic Cotton Fiber Filled Pillow - 2-PACK

This is a nice quality pillow. You can actually unzip the pillow and see the filling inside. It's unbleached cotton and very fluffy. I have them airing out outside right now. The "new" smell is a bit stronger than I expected of an organic pillow, though I suspect they will air out nicely given a few days. I was a bit hesitant when I read the description saying "virtually no chemicals". It would be nice to see a better description that says exactly what chemicals are or are not in there so as to avoid any which cause problems. I don't know if that's what is bothering me or if it's just the new materials. I have organic cotton barrier cloth pillow covers for them, which aired out in less than a day and have no detectable odor, so they should work out great. These were the only organic pillows I could find that were not made in China.

I purchased these pillows back in August, 2011, although I did not start actually using them until around Thanksgiving time. So, after approximately four and a half months of use, here's my verdict:

1. First of all, do they have a smell? Yes, when they are unpacked, they do have a bit of an odor. The odor for my pair was not too strong, and vanished after a couple of days of use. At the moment, they mostly smell like the people who use them. I have a very sensitive nose and am literally sickened (headaches and nausea) by strong smells, especially chemical ones. So for me, these pillows worked out quite well. However, being a natural product, it's quite possible that different pillows from the same company will smell more or less strongly. If you are sensitive to odors, plan on keeping them in the guest room for awhile or hanging them outside in the fresh air and sunshine for a few days.

2. Secondly, do they flatten? Well, frankly, of course they do. All pillows flatten with use, some types more than other types. These pillows are definitely superior to feather pillows, but they are not as firm as, perhaps, a wool or latex pillow might be. So whether or not you will like these pillows will depend on your sleeping style and just how much support you want. For me, one of them on top of a second, firmer pillow gives me just the right amount of soft, comfy fluff on top of support, so I'm quite pleased with them. My three year old is using the second pillow by itself as her first full-sized pillow; she hasn't had any complaints yet (although that may be because she's just so happy to have a "big" pillow instead of the tiny toddler one she's been using).

3. Finally, they are organic cotton inside and out, and the cotton is grown organically in the U.S. As I would like to see more American farmers changing over to organic methods, I like to support them whenever possible. At the time, that I purchased, the price for two came in at under $30.00 apiece, which (believe it or not) put them in the mid-range of what one might expect to pay for a pillow at places like Target and Bed, Bath, and Beyond, so I felt like I got a fantastic deal!

Overall, these pillows are probably not for everybody. But, since we all have different needs and preferences, that's going to be true of ANY pillow. If you're looking for a pillow that adds some softness on top of a firmer pillow, or that flattens to something that is firmer than feathers, these are an excellent bet!

EDITED, 5/11/2012 My preschooler had a nighttime accident which required me to wash her pillow. I washed it (with some other linens to balance the load) in warm water on the delicate cycle, using a mild detergent. I then dried it in the dryer for 90 minutes on low. It came through beautifully and it really fluffed it up! So for those of you who find the pillow too flat, you may want to fluff it in the dryer periodically.

After sleeping on it for 2 months, it is so flat that I have to double it over to keep from getting a crick in my neck. And I am not a large person. The order came with an insert that says Organic Textiles will send an additional 10% fiber if you pay shipping costs of $4.95. This seems unfair to charge shipping, and it needs an extra 100% fiber, not 10%.

This sure beats sleeping on those man made fabricated poisonous pillows with off gassing that you get in mostly all stores. These pillows keep your head cool in hot hot weather and warm in winter. The organic cotton does not cause you to sweat during your sleep. You can actually unzip them and check for yourselves. They are really made up if small organic cotton balls! Pillows came quickly and had no smell that I noticed. After a couple of nights use, the pillows went flat. Apparently most pillows have chemicals that help keep them fluffy so for your health, you do need to fluff these some nightly. It still wasn't firm enough for me so I contacted the company and they sent us out free extra fill. Now it is perfect.

Love the comforter it has a nice camo pattern and I like the silky feel of the matierial better than the traditional cotton. It is also very warm. The "free coordinating" sheets were white and in my opinon do not match, but I am satisfied with the purchase.
